There were so many tracks in today's episode but I think they are all going to converge to AY, your prediction where Imlie would want to leave the house and be a "Azad panchi" and Aditya would be at a point where he would want to trap her in the "pinjara of his love".

Well, there is no doubt that Aditya is blind to his feelings about Imlie but his behavior has also left the same impact on Imlie. Somewhere along their journey, Imlie has started considering Aditya her hero or her inspiration and this has largely been due to his fight for Satyakam. She inspires to be like him and follow his steps. This along with him having the husband title has given rise to certain feelings and expectations in Imlie, inspite of her best intentions. She has started craving his attention, want little sympathy from him and wants to know that she matters. She knows she can never get his love but just wants to know that he cares. Only if she knew because Aditya has done so much of his "moon" jaap in front of her and she has witnessed their PDA so many times, that she has become as blind as him about the care in his changed demeanor. She has build these walls around her and is unable to see anything other than her preconceived notions that he dislikes her and is completely, irrevocably in love with Malini which is never going to change. Thus, as it will take a apocalypse to make Aditya realize his feelings, it going to take another to convince Imlie about his feelings (Lot of Tough times ahead for Aditya😆).

The other reason is the continuous comparison to how good Malini is for Aditya vs what a naughty kid Imlie is by Aditya and other member of the family. It struck her and its going to go on the list of why she should be moving out of the house. The thing to note here is that Badi kaki use the word patni and not bahu because there is big difference between being a patni and a bahu. Patni is some one who is only connected to her husband, who has a deep understanding with him and is his perfect companion by giving and taking inspiration, support him in his highs and lows and vice versa. When this same understanding moves to the other family member of the house, you become the bahu. Sadly, Malini has done nothing to build that rapport with her other family members (other than planning the parties) whereas Imlie has. She noticed RupiDi was sad and was her companion during her tough time, she is aware of Nishant's secret, she knew that there is issue between BK and Nishant and took steps to resolve it, she shares a special relationship with Badke Kaka as well as both the patrons of the house. Though not official in the eyes of the "T"s she is the one "nibaoeing" the farz of both patni and bahu but is very unaware of it. In her mind, Malini is the perfect version of patni and bahu and she is sadly lacking in all respects.

Hence, as this realization keep increasing, she will start taking steps to move away from the house to be a free bird for her own sanity and on the other side Aditya will start taking steps to keep her in his house (pinjara) for his own sanity.

PS: The line from Aditya today that "why cant you be more like Moon" when he was dragging her back in the house had me laughing. It reminded me so much about the very common fact about how we always compare our gharwalas with outsiders, like "see, how good that person, why cant you be like hiim". It so common. Suffice to say that he will never say that to Malini. 🤣🤣

Lovely analysis on the symbolism of "free bird" v/s "Pinjara", Pam.....will be interesting to see if the writers are using that as a larger symbolism for where the story is headed. It didn't strike me until you noted it so explicitly that for a long time, Adi is the one who's been trying to get her to leave his house and Imlie has still ended up staying back for various circumstantial reasons. But now it is Imlie who is starting to feel the itch to spread her wings😆....and now somehow Adi is the one who has gone into protective mode telling her to stay in the "cage" until she is strong enough to fly😆.

@bold: LOL it actually makes me laugh that Adi ke muh se "be like Malini" nikal jaata hai randomly for Imlie without realizing the larger connotations of it.....lol I doubt he REALLY wants Imlie to be like Malini.....but these are all signs of his subconscious mind beginning to place Imlie in the role of companion and jab 7 saal se us role mein Malini ko hi rakha ho toh by default uska naam nikalta hai....like he did it with the bike scene also...."Jaise Malini baithti hai, waise baitho"😆.

But I like your point about baaharwaalon ka example dena gharwaalon ko to live up to an "ideal"😆.

Either way they are building up both Imlie and Aditya to go on guilt trips/sacrifice for when they realize their feelings. Like there was any doubt they would do anything but that.

@Aditya - that patti is probably from a warning shot 😆 Keep away from us or you’ll get more hurt in the future types 😆

LOL I can appreciate the dialogues objectively but they are beyond laughable coming from Malini's mouth😆.

A woman who literally gets suspicious and insecure over everything from a moti roti to Adi bheegoing in baarish on the bike is talking about how vishwaas ya toh pura hota hai ya bilkul nahin? 😆.....

The writers like to have it both ways by trying to make Malini out to be some naive bechaari princess who is being taken for a ride by Adi.....lol but I'm beyond tired of this act now.....she very well acts suspicious about many things no matter what she wants to claim....then on top of that she acts delusional and guilt trips people by constantly needing reassurances and talking about dying if she doesn't get what she wants.

This is NOT trust....in ANY color....despite the fancy dialogues about "feelings ke colors"😆.....this is a rainbow of delusion, period. There is no trust anywhere in this relationship....just a need to cling to a desperate delusion.

This show has some pretty good actors.

The emotion I saw there was Malini feeling that Aditya is again not telling her something that she thinks she has a right to. The last clipped sentence makes it more visible that this is her not getting her way. If it is related to Imlie, I would not have a problem with it. Patni hai aakhir. Ek aur guilt trip pe bhejna bantha toh hai.

If it is related to his job, that’s stupid. There are a lot of people who cannot share what they are working on due to various reasons.

I just watched the clip and it looks more like it's for his secret underworld wala mission only....but Mahaan Malini must have found a way to turn that convo into some sappy speech on "trust" too😆.

Well, I'm mainly expecting Imlie to go into sacrificial mode after realizing her feelings.....Adi seems nowhere close to realizing any feelings....at the most, he will be like yeah, Imlie needs to leave so that I can keep this "bedaag" trust with Malini going😆.....he might feel bad that Imlie needs to leave but realize isko GHANTA hoga😆.

Fate won't let Imlie leave eventually as usual....phir dono baith ke uske baare mein bhi MAJBOORI waali convo karenge😆.

AC toh ofcourse always has to be around to comment on whenever someone gets injured....lol Adi ko bhi blast karegi for not taking care of himself and probably sunaao him ki tum meri beti ko vidhwa karne waale the?😆

Oh definitely, theirs is the perfect example of an unhealthy relationship which is totally wrapped in the delusion of a perfect package. Trust ki to baat hi nahi karo, door door tak uska nishaan hi nahi hain. Even with goons Adi will trust Imlie more than Malini in taking care of themselves. 😆

I was just talking about the scene and the emotions and the dialogues. I am sure this is only going to be about the goons or some nonsense but is going to make Adi go into the hyper mode of guilt about the big secret.

Mark my words, even Aditya getting hurt, she is going to make it all about herself and make him grovel for not listening to her or apologize for making her "pareshaan" about him 😆

101% agree its not about Imlie, totally agree she is not getting her way. I think its about those goons or the underworld dons and she is as usual throwing a tantrum . 😛 but it might affect Adi has he will think about Imlie and their secret. 😊

My comment was only about the scene in itself. When we see it in the show, its going to be totally something else. 😆
