Episodes weren't uploaded by me. They were uploaded by a person on tumbler and rain shared the link here at first. I'd uploaded only offscreen segments and promos on the drive. I just arranged all the threads in one place with their permissions. I am glad that it helped many but they are not my sole effort.

I'd left Vimeo a long time back when they deleted my account there. I don't know much about their rules and regulations.

About YT, maybe you have used a continuous scene in your VM (more than 20 seconds or 15 seconds). That can be easily detected by Star even if you don't use their names or make them unlisted. I agree that will hinder your creativity but if you've to survive in YT, you've to compromise such things.

Not using their name or show is another thing. That you already know. Just like Veer aur Zaara ka naam ek sath nahi liya saktha, ArShi aur IPK can't go along with VM titles.😉😆

Also, advise other fellow ArShians who watch your VMs to not add ArShi aur IPK names in their comments.

Before the final step of uploading the VM, just after the processing is done, check whether you've got any copyright claim using the drafted copy. Usually, only the songs give copyright claims instantly. But if there is a threat from Star, they'll show it there. So you can delete or trim the copyrighted parts and then upload them. You can also give the drive link to watch the whole VM.

YT has a wider reach than many platforms. So I don't think making it unlisted will be helpful. Only a few people could watch your VMs if it is unlisted.

Even after all the precautions, your VMs can still be blocked or deleted. Last year, one of my VM got deleted. I immediately made all the other VMs private for a period of time. That's when I understood the importance of not mentioning the names of Arnav, Khushi, IPK even in the comment section are also important. I am just learning new things every other day. We still can't assure our VMS are completely safe on YT. Always be prepared. But the love from the people makes it all worth it. When IPKians admire your VM, you will forget all the hardships of copyrights, copy strikes, channel shutdowns, plagiarism, and everything.

FYI, I had lost my two YT channels, one after IPK ended and one in 2018. Also, a lot of copyright strikes within a week of uploading a VM. If you get a copyright strike, don't upload anything there until 3 months of time till the strike expires. A backup channel is always preferable, that's why I am now managing 3 channels.

This is what I have learned from 4 years of my YT experience. Hope it helped you.

Awesome vms. I loved the effects and transitions. My first vm is on Suraj Hua madham. I made it in 2016 from random clips on the phone so the quality isn't great.

Thank you so much for all the valuable tips. Do they actually give warning for individual clips in a vm otherwise we won't know which part to trim?

I'll be careful about everything. I have tried two vms for IF so will try posting them on YT.

Usually, content id and copyright claims happen for songs but there won't be removal or blockade of the video. But if Star India or Novi digital detect the video, they won't allow the video to publish itself. That's why when there is a continuous scene they can easily detect the video. We have to edit the video again to remove those scenes. What I did was trim those parts and uploaded the video and then gave the google drive link to watch the uncut version.

Dear, even after all these, a few days back( on 18th Feb) my channel got disabled all at once. They didn't even give notification at all. Deleted all the videos and channels at once. The channel was going well and had decent subscribers, views, likes, and comments. It was there for 2.5 yrs, my most survived channel with only one copyright. Aur jab copyright mila to ek saath mila.

I hope I had cleared all your doubts.
