Intellectual saif in a interview , "don't know if we think of myself in a religious way - somehow kind of own it, then who will? I cannot name my son Alexander and realistically, I could not have called him Ram. Why not a nice Muslim name? And hopefully, bring him up with nice values of secularism, where we love and respect each other."

Even holidays is Kareena paying?

I suggest people to read on who created and funded this feminist movements (sugar daddies who these feminist will never blame for patriarchy or call them male pigs) because well they are getting money from them. All they gonna do is attack man in their own society. Always follow the money

How is helping in-laws have to do anything with Kareena naming their child by her culture or have her name as middle name? Yes, I agree every girl should lose both parent's surnames of something about both of them. But That time was different. Even I don't have my mom's name which I don't like but it is pain to change it so I would not go through that pain. But for my kids, it won't but just father's name, that I can make sure.

I read much more about feminist movements and academians who work on this. If the small fraction is misusing such movement, that does not make the entire movement irrelevant. What you are saying it is called "patriarchal bargain" which means women bowed down to set rules by men but maximizes their own position. Abuse by mother-in-laws come in same category. these are larger psychological impacts. All these problems can be solved only by getting rid of patriarchy.

Noone is attacking males. All we are doing is pointing out patriarchy and male dominance everywhere even naming kids where 50% of genes are from mother and who gives birth by going through do much pain. Noone can deny mother\s roles but still I have not seen even 10% carrying mom's name, isn't that sign of the existence of patriarchy?

I don't know why so few women give their children their last names.

My three nieces and nephews have my sister/our surnames and my brother-in-law has no problem with that at all.

this is not at all about religion but women should also get right to name babies. Middle name should be Kareena or kapoor, why is it always ali khan?

Else in cross culture marriages, mothers culture just gets wiped out!!

His sister Soha's kid is named after her husband's surname, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu and they named Inaaya after the arabic meaning of 'gift from God'. IF Kareena wishes to, she can do the same with her second kid by giving an indian/hindu name since Taimur was also an arabic name iirc. But there should be no pressure and most kid take their father's surname. Esp one with royal traditions, which i doubt they would miss naming so.

Patriarchy is the structuring of society on the basis of family units, where fathers have primary responsibility for the welfare of, hence authority over, their families.

Feminist they have even change the definition of patriarchy to fit in their evil agenda that is oh it means male dominance and oppression or what nonsense they always babbling about ? Who on earth with a brain will think that Kareena will be dominated by Saif , in fact it always looks like the husband has to listen to the wife? Matriarchy! Husband have to keep quiet and say yes to everything their wife says. Pain, why go through birth pain, you must expect the kid to take care of the parents when they are old right? I am surprised to see people think parents have kids without wanting anything in return. And what about the pain the father have to carry of the child for the rest of the lives? Who is going to pay the kids school fee? Is that both mother and father or is that another "helping" from father to kids 😆

The only reason I asked to read about feminism movements so that people are aware of the evil agenda these people have. But I forgot, most people are brainwashed and are living in la la land. I am out these debate, carry on with smashing patriarchy, culture, religion when nothing else is left, smash your own head.

I am sure throughout the ages people have said the same things about other outdated practices that we look down upon now. "We won't have a culture left if we change it!!" Yet we still survive 😳I think we will be fine if we smash patriarchy. No reason to be so dramatic.

Do you read what you post? You have literally no idea about what the words "feminism" and "patriarchy" means.

Oh Wow, Do you know patriarchy does not just mean husband controlling or dominating wife, it is an entire society that gives more importance to men's wishes.I did not say the father does not do anything for the kid, but the father gets credit in the name for whatever he does. Kids get a father's surname, but what about mothers? Are you saying the mother does not do anything for the kid? If there are no unfair advantages to men, why there are so few women in Science, Politics, Business?

I do not know your reason to tell me to read about feminism, but it really seems you have no idea about what is feminism and patriarchy. Please read scholars/philosophers who are experts in the feminist movement and not some Z grade gossip magazine from where you got your theory about feminism.
