I think they used word nominations were just so they could pretend that awards were on jury basis. Tbh it seems to me the simple case of voting!!

And as arshi said...sc has a freaking strong PR. Not PR as such because she doesn't have a "PR manager".. she just has fans who are crazy about her and she's been smart about it and kind of organised her fandom😆...get me??

I think *maybe* they took the top 5 nominations from fans and chose from them? TBH I don't know who else was nominated...but I agree that from a purely critical perspective, that wouldn't be the first choice. Also bc these awards are implying that these are the best actors in television right now, which is not the case (for either, tbf). As you say, if RP was a contender, IMO she should edge it out even over Chandu, as much as I love her. RP is a powerhouse of talent, and her role as Anupama is really quite something.

But I imagine it has more to do with whose PR is stronger, and I don't think RP's is as strong as SC's, and SM's isn't as strong as DD's.

Yeah at first I thought they held those awards in Nov bc they were delayed by Covid, but it turns out they're different anyway don't think Sharbhi would win those. Who knows, maybe khoonpriya might get lucky 😊

Yeah but she has PC, and PC is good at getting her out there. Plus the fandom being so vocal and large is in itself an indication of "good PR" 😆 it's an organised fandom not just a bunch of people on the internet who like an actor, if ya get me.

Basically these awards are not base on talent. They are just based on PR and numbers. DD is just a fine actor not the next level. There are many other better actors than him in itv.

I think sm didn't win because he just didn't recieve enough nominations.🥲🥲😪

Now I'm kind of getting it tbh, they called for nominations and then jury chose amongst them.

I don't think so there were many fans who were nominating Sm. Even at ita time he managed to enter in top 5 categories than why not here.

Jitna mujhe samjh lagi hai its nothing to do with votings warna sm ita main bhi jeet jaya aur yahan bhi.
