So if DV-Kumud were a thing (still suspicious given their current relationship), then he met her elsewhere (not in the house) and got her pregnant. So she wasn’t necessarily a servant then.

Kumud was eager for the truth to come out. I still think the brother thing might be quite logical. Maybe Ranisa hated DV’s brother or something and hence DV had to lie.

If they want to keep Veer's roots on hold for sometime it will happen in the mansion

if not it will be out of the mansion

unless RaniSa was going to get married to his brother, his brother did not turn up at the mandap and DV got married to RaniSa

then there can be some anger on RaniSa part to his brother

I wrote in one of my reviews that be careful Veer, don’t let her anger come out on you. She needs to showcase her anger to Veer. Maybe that question was foreshadowing for this.
