On paper, Taapsee's lineup looks the most exciting I must admit. She has all female-centric films, 4 to be precise. But as a fan, I am most excited for Deepika's releases.
Looking forward to Tapsee and Mrunal's. This is going to sound odd but I see there is a comedy movie called Aankh Micholi that Mrunal is doing with Abhimanyu. I am really looking forward to that!! I loved Abhimanyu in Mard ko dard nahi hota. It was such an offbeat film that reminded me of those wonderful hilarious Stephen Chow movies like Kung Fu hustle and Shaolin Soccer. I am looking forward to Abhimanyu's new projects.

That movie has been on my wishlist for the longest time. Can you tell me where I can watch it?
Abhimanyu is Bhagysashree's son right? I remember him at the roundtable last year. He has such a pleasant personality, and seemed so excited about movies and craft in general.

It's on netflix! I am so excited you are going to watch it!! I love that film.
Yeah he is Bhagyashree's son. I really like him so far. Seems humble. His costar Radhika had said while working with him she assumed he was a poor struggling actor until she went to his big house and realized he is bhagyashree's son 😆
To be honest, most of the films look like OTT types. Only Alia & Deepika have some larger than life big screen suitable movies lined up, which is basically my favorite genre- so yes, its Alia and DP movies for me!

I know what you mean, and you have a good point, even though I don't subscribe to that ideology myself of distinguishing movies based on OTT or big screen. For me, films are either good or bad, and that's the only yardstick I use. 😊

I am tired of OTT movies and literally stopped watching anything on TV. I unsubscribed from Netflix and Hotstar(didn’t renew). Amazon I have only for the Prime shipping. I only watch vlogs on YT these days because they are short, interesting as well as informative. In short, I have developed the attention span of a 2 year old due to too much OTT watching I guess and now only the big screen cinema can make me sit through the 2+ hours and focus on a movie.

I have a different problem - I only enjoy the big-screen experience and love watching movies in the theatre. But I can watch all kinds of movies in the theatre - not just larger-than-life films. That's what I meant when I said that for me all kinds of films can co-exist in the theatres, and that is the sign of a healthy movie culture.👍🏼

I agree. I was even able to watch October kind of slow movie and enjoy it on the big screen which I doubt would’ve happened had I watched it on TV. But for the next year or two the OTT type movies will not be able to find the theaters because of too many big ticket movies that got lined up, thanks to the pandemic!
