Forget money, he hardly likes shopping. Malini once said he has never gifted anything to malini on his own. He used to take her to the shop, whatever malini likes he will buy for her, that's it. But this is the second time he bought something for imlie without anybody's involvement. I can see progress in adi's character. This dude is changing but he is not noticing it yet. 😛

And that's the thing na.....it was simple cuz it came dil se....irony yeh hai ki he keeps claiming zabardasti hai, forced hai rishta.....who "forced" him to give her such a gift and then add a NOTE to it as well? 😛 Last time bhi toh kurta laaya tha....usko gift wrap nahin kiya....lol is baar full gift wrap with NOTE also.....waah ji waah😆

On another note, I also felt that the kitchen scene when the ladies were discussing whether or not their husbands are expressive about showing their love for them was interesting. Aparna mentioned that Adi's father never says "I love you" but he expresses it through some gesture or the other every single day. Malini responds saying, "Oh that means Adi hasn't gone on his father....he says I love you so many times to me but seems to struggle with showing it romantically"😆

Such a telling moment....Malini ko pura din "I love you" sunke bhi Adi se woh "loved" hone ka feel nahin aata.....while Adi's parents seem to share that old school kind of love that doesn't need an official declaration for love to be felt. Then there's Adi himself....Moon ko pura din "I love you" bolta rahega but khud sabse zyada feel isko ek SHIKAYAT waali letter se aaya love ka😛.....Adi is actually very much like his father, Malini😆.....bas tum nahin samjhi. He is also the type to express his love through gestures rather than declarations. Isiliye tumhein 100 "I love you" sunke bhi tassalli nahin hoti aur Imlie ko ek moti roti mein, ek hanky mein, aur gusse mein bhi fikar dikh jaati hai😆. And it's the same for Adi as well.....Malini's 100 "I love you's" didn't leave the impact on him that the one shikayat waali letter from Imlie did....he also measures love through simple gestures, not grand declarations. He just doesn't realize that he doesn't have it with Malini even after 7 years.

How lovely and frankly intimate is it that he went to place the gift on her bed? Even if he didn't give her the gift directly, he's not trying to keep it a secret. Anyone could have walked into Imlie's room, seen his name on it and misunderstood. It's clear yet again that Adi is throwing every caution to the wind because he bought such a romantic dress on VALENTINE'S DAY for her to replace her everyday wear (really Adi?🤣).

LOL moments like these just make it obvious that Adi is very impulsive when it comes to Imlie.....the fact that he didn't think through how the gift would be viewed is really amazing. In that moment, he just wanted to give her a gift, so he gave it....aage peechhe nahin socha. This, from the guy who otherwise daily grapples with guilt....lol I guess guilt is also complicated for Adi....he has the larger guilt for hiding the truth, but on this smaller point, I guess he felt he had a clean conscience since he just wanted to give her a gift without any "V-day" related connotation. Think about it from his POV, he just wanted to do something nice for Imlie....no labels attached (or so he thinks😆)....and in wanting to do something for Imlie, he temporarily forgot that it's V-day and he's gifting something BRIDAL RED to her😆.

About Nishant...I actually think he'll bring about some deeply moving moments between Adilie in future. It's sort of being hinted that Imlie could be the first to find out about his illness but it'd be by accident. Since it's established that Nishant and Adi share the closest bond, I think Nishant will confess it to Adi which will no doubt devastate him. And just imagine yet again Adi will find himself caught with a heavy secret to carry with noone else to share it with except Imlie. Seeing him lean on her for emotional support would be amazing to watch. I have a feeling that's how it'll go but ofcourse lol I should learn from you and keep my expectations low. 😆

Yes, it does seem likely that Nishant will help with increasing the emotional bonding b/w Adi-Imlie.....especially if they discover his secret. Imlie will become a partner in one more secret with Adi and maybe by the end, Nishant may learn their truth too and be a confidante to both of them.

Not the first time a Gul heroine has been shown doing a mimicry of the male lead....but the way Sumbul did it without going overboard was what made it so effective....ekdum DEADPAN way mein she did it and that was making it all the funnier as she maintained the "Serious Patrakaar" look throughout😆.....the expressions were not exaggerated and that made it all the funnier....haha

I think he liked it when she said ' it was not to see you get hurt'. The heartfelt 2 minute convos and the way his eyes are seeking her out now, since the visit to the Chaturvedis are telling. Adi is fighting his growing affection for Imli day by day, falling under her spell like the reset of the family has. Since the bike ride in the rain, he has been mentioning Imli in his convos with Malini and trying to cover it up. He did look lulzy 😆 while trying to hide the gift and that 7 year mention in the note...aww... aur kuch nahi mila BS ko likhne ke liye. 😆

Re: the note for Malini.....lol I just couldn't stop laughing that even in a note for V-day which is supposed to be all about "lowe"😆, Adi mainly said ALL THE BEST🤣 and THANK YOU to Malini.....Note bhi pura obligation and ehsaan se bharaa hua.....lol....he never stops reiterating how he think she's done him a favor by jheloing him for 7 years😆.....and that wouldn't be much of an issue if that wasn't the ONLY thing their relationship was built around.

That will take atleast 500 episodes going by the current pace of Babusahib😆.....it seems too far-fetched to even imagine an Adi right now calling himself Imlie ka😆.....their whole relationship is built around him probably not even ever needing to say it but his actions will show ki woh Imlie ka hota jaayega.

After watching episode , i am hell confused with Adi's character. Its evident that he still is not fallen for her, but cares for and there is unsaid affection.

What Imlie did, is not right. It will cause some problems definitely for her, Adi and Sundar. The whole situation is messed up. Adi should have asked either Malini or any one of the family members to give that dress to Imlie instead of giving her as a gift directly from his side. Due to this Imlie will feel that Adi gave it as Valentines gift. And when family members started asking Imlie who gave her that dress, Adi should have stepped first and should have told every one that he gifted her as apology or smthng.

But this guy was all smiling and all ears to hear his name😆

And Imlie should have taken Adi name even though Malinii may get little upset over that fact but by lying, she is creating more problems.

In this scenario both Adi Imlie are at fault

I think Malini getting hyper over the receipt will prove Imlie right that she wouldn't have handled it well if she found out like this that Adi bought a gift for Imlie without conferring with her.

Malini's issue right now is that Adi is doing things without taking her into confidence, especially when it comes to Imlie. Adi is the main one at fault here cuz if he just wanted to get the gift as a gesture for Imlie, he could have easily run it by Malini......but he didn't. Imlie has infact managed the situation by covering up for his mistake.

All these little lies are building up all because of the one main big lie.....until they clear that one up, these lies will keep piling up no matter what. But that is how the story has to go for the ultimate big explosion to occur one day.

It's funny how Adi had very casually bought a valentine-themed dress, gift-wrapped it and gifted it to Imlie upon seeing her torn dress. He seemed to have done it like it was such a normal and obvious thing to do. He really was standing happily hearing everyone compliment Imlie and her dress. I think his family berating him for being extra rude to Imlie made him think it should be no big deal to give her a gift like this and they will all appreciate him.
