Haha. It has begun. OTT stars vs theatre stars.

So far, I would say, he is right. OTT is giving actors a chance to shine.

I would still say that people like salman, akshay, sunny deol may not be successful on ott because they play larger than life images in movies always

also they are all one note actors they do not know much of acting so will be exposed on OTT platform

but those who do not have much image like a bobby deol, nazawuddin, akshaye khanna etc may become hit on OTT

there are only 10 hero and 10 heroines in bollywood

for rest before they had no options only TV may be

But hardly any movie actor has become hit on TV

So if they flop on cinema they had no career or life

OTT has given that chance

aslo parallel cinema actors like nawazuddin, tripti, avinash etc would never get chance as hero/heroine in movie theatres as they are not from film family

but they can become hero/heroine in OTT

definetly the actors in OTT are better actors than movies because you require real acting skills to shine unlike movies thats all OTT playing to gallery

You were nothing but a failed actor with zero acting chops, so please stop flying so high and accept the reality! Being condescending like that will not help your case

OTT is the best platform for a second chance for people like Bobby who couldn't make it in films during their prime.

Hope he does some good movies too.

He is right. A film is just 2 hours long while a web series is really long with so many seasons. So not just the talented actors, even the talented directors can showcase their talent properly in a web series. The character development, the layers and arc can be portrayed much better in a web series. Bobby has received both critical acclaim and audience love for his recent web series. Congratulations to him.

More like a dumping ground for the rejected from the film industry.
