Well, he's still a big shot and this story won't tarnish any of his stardom. Rubbing him off the wrong way won't earn her anything. She is still aspiring to get work, so she may be hoping that Akshay would feel guilty and offer her some work, or at least put out a word for her.

Truthfully, I'm not In her head so I don't know what she was thinking.

But even with her asking this at the end of her interview won't lessen the blow if Akshay choose to take it the wrong way.
