Aww..wish it was a tell all book. I feel that memoirs/autobiographies should be written only when you're much older and retired. That way you have nothing to lose and you can be more open.
Also, Priyanka is still in her 30s and who knows what she's going to end up doing in her 40s...she's already done so much. So, if she would've waited till her late 40s, she would've had a lot more material and it would have been much more interesting to read.
I disagree.
The "stats" can also be framed in this way: She will turn 40 next year!
PC is at a unique point in pop culture history. When was the last time a South Asian SUPERSTAR crossed over into Hollywood at the level she has? Never. And she just completed 20 YEARS of being famous, that's reason enough for a memoir.
And to the people wondering where all the "secrets" are? When did she ever say that this was a "tell all?". She's doing this book for other reasons. I doubt PC sat with her manager and said "hey you know what, I really wanna do an exposè on myself, in book form".
Unfinished has (already) given Priyanka the title of "best-selling author". She did THAT. That's more the purpose of this exercise. As well as things like doing it for the culture. And of course having no work for 6 months due to the pandemic for a workaholic would lead to this result.

what she says about aitraaz? Wish she did more movies with Akshay amazing pair. But of course pc said she told only parts that are important to her but other parts of her life she’ll keep it private. I am glad at least she became honest with her nose surgery she used to lie about itOriginally posted by: WittyFlair
Bollywood is one quick chapter. She basically spends her time talking about Aitraaz and Fashion. Once she does Fashion, she summarizes the next 8 years in literally a paragraph. Definitely not a tell all for sure😆

Nothing major. Just how she made an impact as a negative character.
Aitraaz worked only because of PC's acting and word of mouth publicity. ⭐️
Okay so I finally got Unfinished on Audible and I'm sad and disappointed.
I didn't even consider the fact of the thing that has made me so upset.
HER ACCENT 😢😢😢😢
I know some people will think it's an over-reaction but I LOVE listening to autobiographies narrated by the author themselves on Audible. Recently I have THOROUGHLY enjoyed: Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys, Lily Singh to name a few. There's something so special about them.
But here Priyanka Chopra is speaking in a forced, made-up faux accent and it's throwing me off so bad. I understand why she did this but to my ears it just doesn't feel genuine. I love her usual voice. It just sounds plasticcy to me. So far I just listened to the Preface and had to turn it off.
Hopefully I will get used to it in the chapters to come or some other miracle will happen but for now, major sadness.
😢😢😢😢
