I doubt that would’ve happened 😬 the fact is that no one except for Veer would’ve been able to save her and that’s because he is the one that married her. That is what irked Rani and that’s why she was sad.

100%. Rani is obviously unaware of the promise that Veer has made to himself. She is still under the impression that Veer has only made those promises to help her and not worry her Dadisa. I feel like from now on, even if Rani is reluctant to take Veer's help, it will always be on the table. It will no longer be a question of "no I don't want it because he won't help". And slowly, she will allow herself to be dependent on him, because no matter how independent a person is, they will always need someone in their corner to support them and root for them. Rani needs that and she will receive it from Veer (and Vikram). And Veer will receive the same support from Rani.
