The best thing about the Janki phase was that she never ever lost. It was probably the first time in the show's history that everything she decided to do, she achieved, and she also never crumbled like Parvati would have. Esp. bc pre-Janki track there was SO. MUCH. RONA. DHONA. for like years after Om died. The Janki track was a breath of fresh air. Man I love it so much.

This is what you call revamping a show but keeping its essence (even though we could’ve got ridden of the oldies 😡) I swear she bloody cried an ocean every single episode. But this literally was the first time in ITV not only did the FL get a makeover her personality got a makeover alongside it and she stuck it it. Usually

Not only him, but her Shruti too 😡 (who they butchered in order for this leap to take place). But yeah, she'd lost everything, her most beloved person, and then his family ditched her one by one 🤢 honestly I was cheering her on this entire phase. Would have loved the oldies to suffer more, but that was never our Parvati.

But Narayani Devi really helped her shed that "mahaan bahu" image and let herself be selfish for once. Selfish, but still doing everything for her Om 😳
