For me whats working is that finally there is an ITV show, which is using situations and circumstances to develop a relationship organically rather than flying duppatas, feet slipping (how many times can a person fall), eye locks and the rest of the boring romantic stuff.... I have signed up for a slow burn romance developed in a sensible way with an interesting story and it’s staying true to the form so far. So, I would just like to watch it and enjoy it without any spoilers or comparisons.

@bold: Same for me😆.....I actually can't quite believe that I'm finding this in a GUL show of all places🤣....who is practically the Queen of inventing the most cliched of flying dupattas, dragged out eyelocks and trip/catch scenes on all her other pairs😆.

As you said, it's remarkable that we are getting to see a story where situations and circumstances are developing a relationship rather than instant attraction or love.....so that is what has made me sign up for this too and I'd like to see it play out.

So far so good😆.....despite the drag in the storyline from time to time, overall the good casting, acting and character interactions generally keep things engaging :)

Re: Imlie....haha yes our mad hatter is going to be confused about these daydreams....she has dismissed this terrace daydream for now....if the daydreams increase in frequency in the coming days, that's when things will get more fun😆.....depends on how slow/fast the writers want to take it.....but yes, our Imliya is definitely on the path of falling hard😆. Meanwhile oblivious Babusahib will also have no idea what's gotten into her😆

Ok, now I am really curious to know that do you all really think that they have not consummated their marriage. They are staying in one room for so long, the sindoor scene on the vat savitri Pooja was really beautiful, there was also the dialogue where the mother says that Malini is glowing, that means the consummation is done correct? Yes, it’s not explicit but wouldn’t Malini find it odd if Aditya had not taken the marriage forward. I mean let’s not forget this is girl who went crying to her mother for a small fight, wouldn’t she bring up this fact too. I think it’s done so I really do not understand this fear of honeymoon on the forum.

LOL I think it's pretty obvious they've already been intimate😆.....or they wouldn't be so comfortable after so many days of marriage......so I also really don't get the phobia over "impending SR" or "impending honeymoon"😆.

I'm thankful the writers haven't tried to make a big deal out of it by showing some hyped up SR...it's implied and sort of understood at this point that they are like a regular married couple.....also, I know no one wants to hear this but these two were together for 7 years....if people still actually think they never did it together in that time and waited for marriage, dunno what to say😆.

Regardless, it really doesn't matter to me either way.....the Adi-Imlie equation will continue to develop on it's own level.

@bold: Exactly, the writers have shown them to be so comfortable with each other and that in itself is implied. I am glad that it’s not explicit but I was surprised that how can anybody doubt that nothing has happened especially as they have been together for 7 years and with Aditya’s constant Moon Jaap.

Anyways, it does not matter as long as they keep doing what they are doing now and keep taking the story forward. 😊

Another lovely episode!! The scenes on the chaat 😆were so meaningful...

- the way Adiya's counsin says Malini won't be able to handle your gussa all by herself. Even the family figured that out. 😊 Exactly what kind of (7 year) relationship these two share that Malini can't even calm him down?

- One babusaheb from her, he immediately stops! 😳 They certainly have come a long way,

- Hamara Imliya writes such dil-chu-jane wali poems! I have to say Imlie's intelligence shines through these poems. Glad the writers are showing this side of Imlie. Her poems sets her aside from the rest and we get the Imliya who won wajifa 😆 for being one of the most talented student of UP.

- While coming up with the lines of the poem, emotions are surfacing in Imlie which she would rather not have. Well Imliya, it's going to be more and more difficult to suppress them! 😳

- Malini is really shaken by the poem. Somehow it unsettled her. It sort of gave her a glimse of maybe she doesn't understand her husband so well which she gets credit for.

- How will Aditya feel when he finds out that the poem was written by Imlie? How can this jhalli girl understand him so much better that the woman he claims to be the love of his life?

Oooh, count me with you! You are not odd, in fact there were several members also mentions that after the wedding, when a lot of members wished that Adini never go intimate for the sake of Millani doesn't hurt and Adili becoming a couple after that!

It is so normal as a married couple! They don't have to show us their intimacy to understand that this had been happened!

Exactly not everything has to be so explicit!! It is good to ise some common sense sometimes😆 and it is not some medal that whether one has won or not.. High time people stop treating it as some jeet ka nishaan

Yup I know the show. Haven't watched it in awhile though. Need to find time to catch up on it. Truly iconic indeed. Archie comics were a huge part of my childhood.
