Yeh toh wahin debate hain ki art and artist separate hote hain ki nahin.

Par what I feel is ki Jkr is in a position of influence. If she uses the influence to say ki ek group of people women hain hi nahin, toh this cannot be allowed. That's why there were many people who decided that they'll not support the HP franchise in any way that'll financially benefit her. And I stand in that group.

I can't stop reading HP because I have literally grown up with those books and movies. They are a part of my childhood but I'm never going to support jkr financially

Exactly! How could she make such comments idk...i mean if someone is different than how does it matter ...it isn't going to make them bad... and that's what i like so much about hp books...but when jkr said that....ugh...idk...
Also one personal detail...i never had to buy hp book series😆...meri ek friend ke paas saare thhey so i just took it from her...

Once we fall in love with a particular book or series...i feel it's tough to forget what we loved so much about them....so even i can never ever stop loving the whole series...esp the books...but as for supporting jkr...umm no....not happening as of now...
