What if she finds out about them and that’s why fixes Vashma’s alliance as the show is based on the 1940s they can’t be that accepting of interfaith marriage even though her family seem to be more liberal

True that. But then maybe Vashma tells her openly that she too loves Uday, it is not one-sided from his side (his majnu harkatein are evident to all, hers are thoda subtle) and she then helps them. Resistance hoga par maan jayegi Ammi jaan ❤️
