Yes, the scene was genuine and realistic, every single nuance was appreciable, even though the scene between them was short. It was really heart-warming to see Shaurya being capable of concern, beneath all the prejudice he has for Anokhi.
Also, another scene a few days back, reflected Shaurya's pain with regards to his mother - the night he walks through the market and sees the poor Mother-Son selling bamboo baskets. The tears, the expressions were perfectly done.
