That's true. I watched this show called Unreal a few years ago and it focuses on how reality shows create drama and spin narratives based on that.

All these reality shows have favourites they want to promote based on how they have invested in them in terms of money or the kind of attention they can garner. Sometimes, the content the derive is organic, sometimes it is slanted. We, as an audience, will go where they lead :)
