This ridiculous take on Doing things for content

Bear with me....

The year is 2020. We're sort of coming out of Lockdown conditions and holding onto Bigg Boss' tall claims of defeating lockdown and boredom... yea sure.

Things are boring in the first few weeks, then get weird. The makers realise that their big stars are not doing anything useful so they bring in Farah Khan to shake things up. A certain boring, "incapable personality who needs to be taught things like a 4 year old ( Relax Rubina fans, this was her self assessment that I will accept) is told that she needs to make more friends in the house. And this is where it gets interesting...

Her response to that is along the lines of each time she goes forward to have a convo or initiate any kind of point putting across, she is told by other housemates that she just wants to take footage on their expense so she doesnt.... And the biggest opponent to whom she was rather directly indirectly telling was Nikki Tamboli. Dont believe me? Pull out the episode.

Now 2021. She is doing the same to others but instead of using footage, she uses "Content". As if thinking how to be entertainers is a bad thing....Rubina thinks that the generation of content is derogatory. Or rather something to put down someone who has been told she is ENTERTAINING. She is doing the exact same thing that she once accused Nikki for AND to make matters worse, Is doing it at the expense of the show and the viewers.

So my question is simply this, What Dear Rubina, did you think was the format of the show if it wasn't to

1. Strategise to be captain

2. Form Alliances to entertain the masses during tasks

3. Create FUN atmosphere and a setting that made ppl there was more to 2020 than sitting in one corner or the other AND

4. MAKE CONTENT WORTHY OF TELEVISION

5. Appeal to viewers beyond your supposed divorce that didnt happen cos you're in this house

What is Rubina's paycheque for if not any of the above things? Why on earth should she be allowed to judge someone capable of creating content and entertainment when she's being paid to do the same and failing miserably?

For those who will come at me to defend her, What ACTION( not overreaction) has she given the show that makes her a worthy contestant and not someone else who is honest to their job? She has ridden on all the backs of all of those who gave this show their ALL.

(Side Note : I don't think Rakhi's harassment is funny but I also won't think it's cool for my husband to tie another woman's saree so we'll put a pin on Rakhi. Rubina immediately thinks whoever is appreciated for being entertaining is unliked her and starts her childish "rampanting")

If Politicians get the mandate of the public and do not deliver, we start abusing them. As an entertainer even if the masses are with her for who she once played, if she isnt being true to the concept of entertainment or even redefining entertainment instead of what Rakhi has to offer, then what does that make her? Worthy of the trophy? LOL.

START doing things for content Rubina, it will at least justify your illogical "win".

True they are getting paid for creating the content... That's their only job in the house. The job if she cant do properly.

The points you have mentioned, they're so true. The couple have refused to do all those stuff. They don't want to be captains, they don't want to play for it. They don't like to ask for help for captaincy bec they think its begging. They're not interested in tasks even for bb mall food now. They're finding it absurd that people are playing a task for just bb mall food.

They want to sleep, eat and yoga without any disturbances, who cares about audience, let's have santra. And of course never seen them showing desire to win the trophy.

So true.@bold - is what is expected of every housemate and are PAID for it. But for Rubina it has been about her way (her class and category ) or high way. I still remember when EK was trying to have a convo with her in the first couple of weeks and she just walked off. This arrogance and attitude has been since day one until now and will remain till the end.

For her, this show (in her own words) was an opportunity to spend 24/7 undistracted with her hubby ( who I think wanted divorce more than her, as she had mentioned in one of the episodes saying "Thank you for giving me another chance"). They were in the show to work out their marriage. Housemates, task, content, entertainment was never their concern and never a priority. They were working on their marriage and getting paid.

Thats also a reason for her bashing, as she isn't doing anything worthwhile. She has been forced time and again to provide something. When the couple do provide content its so lame and over the top that only thing one can do is . These two are not only boring but stand for everything thats wrong. Be it hypocrisy or be it Abhinav matter. Today madam was seen asking Arshi why only Rakhi is interested in him, why not others? And I was like did she forget Arshi was going to have Abhinav baby (that was Arshi planned narrative when she entered the house). How easily madam forgot that? She played along with Rakhi to get content and now samething is bothering her.

How is Rubina's win going to be "illogical"? The format of the show is that the one the audience liked the most and gets max votes wins.

@bold 2 - a question I have often asked - and received either whataboutery or “she has the most fans” in answer 😆

@bold 3 - that is really what should be the parameter of a win for this show. I was just saying yesterday - I’ve found Rahul so unlikeable this week, but yesterday he was proactively doing - he was everywhere, playing the game and showing shades - so albeit an unlikeable person IMO, but he looked a likely winner yesterday.

Rubina simply (over)reacts - she has no game nor concept of it. Her idea of the game is to sit on her entitled throne, give righteous bhashans and behave as a theatrical cartoon.
