I think all the issues in the end just spoiled the vibe the mood yk...she was already sad that she was leaving, then to deal with all that stuff. Must have spoiled it for her.

The mangalsutra eps kinda gives away that even during that time she was melting for him. She could have just stopped him from putting the mangalsutra and sindoor...just pushed his hand away but al she did was look into the mirror while he "married" her.

And I would have thought there'd be more emotions attached to a role you lived for longer, than for one you played for six months (though that said, sometimes the longer you've been on a job, the 'easier' it is to leave because you're ready to move on).

You're right that often it's not logical, and it's not that I'm trying to make a comparison (negatively or otherwise) between her two experiences...but it's just a curious thought. I guess from the perspective of some of those fans who lived through and felt the anger at the way that Anika was ousted from the show bring to this conversation their own biases. From what I read they were inferring (vaguely, ofc!) that the PH and fellow-cast members have treated her with far more respect here than on IB esp during her last days of filming, but like I say, that could be their biases or projections coming through. Either way, I'm glad she's had a good experience with this PH and these people, nobody wants to be relieved to leave a job behind. And if it means she feels like she might have a home base in the industry, well good for her.

Yes. She's chill and extremely comfortable will all her costar. Nakuul included. You can just see how easy and relaxed their bond is. The show is her claim to fame to put it simply. Also the whole years vs only 6 months factor. It may get stagnant after a point but the longer you have been in a show (or anything really), the more emotionally attached, habituated and comfortable you are in that space. So you'd assume she would say that would be on top for her. Perhaps she is referring to the working environment as well? She did say 'pampered'. Although her statement seemed to imply more than just that actually.

I am equally curious as you are and wondering about the same. Because like you said, due to the situations surrounding her exit in IB, what the fans say may have to be taken warily. There may some truth to it, but I suppose at the end, its all talks and only she truly knows.

If she truly feels at home with Balaji, great for her. They are a huge PH to camp with! I agree they could always have something to give her (even perhaps with SM 😳) and that is a great backing to have in this industry.

I think you've hit the money on at least part of the reason this is so big for her. Yeah Anika brought her fame and I'm sure she loves that character and every opportunity it gave her, but Bani gave her Balaji, and I guess from a work perspective that is gold to her. It was always her dream to work with them.

Plus like you said, maybe the love she had for Anika/IB/that set is still there but is tempered with the negative vibes and emotions she must also have felt at the time. Like something sour in your sweet dish that you weren't expecting. Whereas this experience, even if the ending is abrupt, has been nothing but positive for her in all respects.
