How can an IPS officer give his phone to a random kid??

I didn't like Virat giving his phone to that kid no matter what. Moreover he's an IPS Officer who keeps receiving important work related calls (may be he doesn't anymore) And that girl keeps cutting Sai's call!? She could have informed him.

I know she's a kid but if she learned to cut a call then she should also be knowing the importance of a call and the necessity to inform an elder around (Virat) about it.

Virat didn't even think of informing anyone. He knew Sai called him that evening. Didn't he think his BFF would worry about him?

He could have got a lady constable to keep the girl company.

Very true! I was also looking at the scene thinking wtf! Just to keep the kid occupied he gave her the phone to play games but its his work phone too! 🙈 And that kid seemed old enough to not simply cut the call because it was interrupting her game - such a little brat! And kids these days know how to work a phone better than adults. So its not voz kid didn't realize what she was clicking when she was rejecting the calls. Aur phone obviously silent par rakh te hai acp saab kyunki that how he can make sure to miss important calls both from home minister and work 🙈😂😂😂 agar normal logon ki phone ke tarah baj gaya tab toh uthana padega na! Also do we assume that virat did no work all day except hang out with the kid in the hospital? 😂 And when he went to Sai's college to check out Anikets height , there were 3 hawaldars with him but now he's alone. Aisa kyun?!

Also he seemed completely uninterested in charging his phone. As an acp, doesn't he need to be "available" at all times?

I don’t think this is the first time he is coming home this late and people might be used to his odd hours . He always believed , Sai doesn’t wait for him so he didn’t care to inform her or anyone in the family. If not for PP no one would have known if he is back or not .I think he wasn’t so keen on charging because his driver was with him and he knew they would contact him for emergency. DIG would have known about his location from his subordinates.

Don’t you know Virat doesn’t believe in carrying chargers or power bank . His whole love story started because of this habit 😂....
