I do have a question, todays episode was interesting the arguments were toned down. For once Sai was smarter and stayed quiet.
This kid scenario was good, is there some link to the story (not related to Devi tai) but Sai-Virat in a way?.

I liked Ashwini today supporting both Sai and Karishma. She is really a kind hearted person. Her misplaced or misguided advice to Sai can actually be considered traditional mind set. I really wish she advises Virat too on his behaviour.

Lovely post. I was expecting the Chavan's to stand by their favourite daughter in law for adding salt in the exotic tea. You know, the favourite daughter in law has all the rights to make mistakes, but not the others😡. This is the rule set by Bhavani Devi. And, naturally her gang too will accept it. They are so blind that they are unable to see the innumerable mistakes that she has done. It was a great move from Ashwini to point out that if either Sai or Karishma would have done the same thing the entire animal kingdom of Chavan Niwas would have ganged up on both of them. And this time Saloni too couldn't say anything. And, our Pakhiji is still living in a bubble world where she thinks Virat is her husband. When the bubble will burst she herself will get hurt. Overall, it was a good episode since Ashwini left no stone unturned to show the truth to these Chavans.

(Arrey Yaar Samrat hota toh zaroor dekhta) Main ghar ki badi bahu hoon, rudrabhishek karna mera haq tha but Sai ne cheen liya (Arrey yaar, Samrat hota toh rudrabhishek bhi ye dono kar lete, faltu mein Sai ko blame kar rahi hai) Main pagal ban ke reh gayi hoon (Arrey yaar Samrat, please come back and take full custody of your wife before I have to sign consent forms at some mental asylum).

Naturally, her dard is pushing him to find Samrat. Really don't know why so much 'original' reference to Samrat and what's the point of this child sequence but I am glad army fellow didn't say "Arrey aap hi toh show ke hero hain, aa jaayie bhai ko dhoodhne.."

Would love the re-entry though. Want as many people on Team Sai as possible. 😆

Actually I didn't understand whether she was crying because she ended up making a fool of herself or because people refused to have the tea she made anyway. She was definitely not feeling bad for Sai or the mention of Samrat (although for a moment it hit her when Kaku mentioned the Pati's actual name)

I guess so-- just wrote in a reply above how he's the only one who felt her 'dard'..But yes, i guess he feels Samrat's presence is needed to allow her to move on or at least try to...

Well, i guess it is traditional mindset. I think what I find rather 'beautiful' for the want of a better word in this story is that the characters are flawed -- they try to be progressive, they stand up for the right but then in some of their actions, you can see a hint of the conditioning they have grown up with. Ashwini does not find it regressive to advise her young daughter-in-law to think of herself as her son's wife and exercise the right on him and fulfil wifely duties. If Sai doesn't do it, she would not hold a grudge but she would want Sai to do it... What I do not understand is her one-sided nastiness towards PP - I get it that it is PP, who has been on the wrong side of the line mostly, but Ashwini has some apprehensions about speaking to Virat. I think, again, it has to do with the mindset of following patriarchy. We know many women who are raised to follow the men of the house, be it the rigid fathers, controlling brothers, husbands and sons later... I guess the makers are trying to show how deep-rooted that conditioning remains despite having the right values.
