Actually Nikki is immature but I don't think she is wrong here.

When she was rude, she was applauded.

When she is actually improving, she is bashed.

Itna brainwashing karte hain na koi bhi pagal ho jaye.

If Nikki was smart, she will know public opinion differs from Salmans false narrative.
