On the Western calendar the start of the Chinese New Year this year falls on Friday , February 12- 2021

Do you acknowledge either Wester New year or Chinese New year? or is there a different day you consider New Year.?

2021 It is the year of the Ox , may you all have prosperity and health regardless of your sign.

In my family we celebrate the Western New Year and also have adopted a celebration on the Chinese New Year, with a special meal and sweets, we have been using the same Chinese China for generations and we exchange red envelopes with gifts inside, plus we make a collage with all the good things we wish for and look forward to in the coming year.

Here are some years and their sign in the calendar,

If you were born in 1913, 1925, 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009, 2021, you were born under the sign of the ox.

Browse the calendar to find your birth year and more about your Chinese zodiac sign :

Then again much light, prosperity and peace to all. It is great proof that the world revolves with many different beliefs but the humans all desire and need just a few things to survive and be happy. Food-Water-Shelter-Health, may the new year regardless of the date it is welcomed bring all a much needed respite from illness and lots of prosperity. Thank you for sharing I shall go read.
