Looks like the family doesn't like Geet's decision of hiring Maan. Her other guards did not protect her that well and Maan is the only one who really did. So why the unhappiness? Her father is the only one in favor of this decision. Her uncle, aunt, and Akash are still protesting. Is there something more to this? Maybe the attacks are being ordered by them and a good guard would work against their plans? Maybe they want to eliminate Geet and get her share of the property. That seems like a plausible explanation of their behavior.
