I'll keep the fact that Rubinav were enablers of Rakhi themselves for a moment and agree ENTIRELY that both have complete right to feel uncomfortable, violated, let down, disrespectful... molested even. Especially Abhinav since the matter concerns him mainly. Now, I also agree that what Rakhi's tattoo and string pulling antics were disgusting. I have always agreed and maintained that but personally didn't mind her going ahead with tattoo antics because I can see through Rubinav's game clearly.
Summarising basically what Rahul and Vikas said,
- They will milk an angle or a person's personality, vulnerability or loyalty to the maximum and throw them under the bus when they're no longer of any use or benefit.
- They will enable wrong/immoral/ethical behaviour and support it so long as they're aren't on the front foot and aren't on the receiving end. The moment that's recognised and called out, they'll pretend as if they were just allowing people to be themselves.
- Their stands, POVs, ethics and principles, approach and game is constantly changing and is always best suited to their benefit. Jab tak unka faida ho directly or indirectly, sab changa si.
- They will side by or support people so long as they're unquestioningly loyal, always playing for them subtly or openly, fetching them any and all favours and benefits and help them look the epitome of righteousness, class and justice.
That's exactly what they did to each of their pawns, Nishant, Jasmine, Nikki, Rakhi and tried to pull the same with Vikas too. And so, I had and have zero sympathy for this couple who in my opinion are shallow, nasty, hypocritical and fake AF.
They benefitted from Rakhi's acceptable and non acceptable forms of entertainment as much as they could and while both internally never enjoyed Rakhi's entertainment, approach and advances, continued to pretend to enjoy because they understood pretty well that it was getting Abhinav screen space and relevance. The instance she got too far for their comfort of use, they got all rattled up because nada thing couldn't have been allowed to get away with onscreen.
Absolutely not saying Abhinav didn't or shouldn't have felt violated, he reserves every right to. And Rakhi got told off and rightfully so and pretty well at that by Sally today. She wasn't encouraged or celebrated as an entertainer today. My point, basically is, Rubinav khoob mirch khayenge knowing very well that it doesn't suit them and phir ek dum se inko mirch se badhazami ho jaati hain.
Kya bhai, itne time se pata nahi tha mirchi hazam nahi hoti? 😆 So, unka yeh chu banana sabko is my main issue with them. Add to that, like you said, Rubina switching on her bahu mode and bhashan-ing her way out when instead she could have and should have taken Rakhi to hell and back as a wife and I'd have actually stood by her had she done that. But erm no, she didn't because she can't as she clearly lacks the guts to take on Rakhi heads on.
