Whataboutery ā discussions are so hard when this technique is used... how about this. You answer my question and Iāll respond to yours.
If youāre not reading comments like Abhinav deserves it ā itās Karma ā he encouraged it to get footage (implying he asked for it) then weāre not reading the same forum.
I donāt care about Rubina or Abhinav being the shittiest people that ever walked this earth. They very well could be... and still this wouldnāt be right.
I was called a racist for asking Why is personal space in India such a novice issue. I can only tell you my experience and based on that what I see I kinda feel it is sad what Iām seeing.
It wasnāt intended to be whataboutery - it was intended to draw a parallel. For me - such statements shouldnāt be made by any of the contestants - because this is BB - and as BBās history has proven, one personās treasure is anotherās trash and vice versa. Unless itās a Swami Om throwing his pee - which Iām guessing everyone would agree is not entertainment.
People commenting on Rubinaās reaction and what sheās saying to and about Rakhi/the audience is hardly people victim blaming Abhinav. Rubina absolutely does, IMO, have a penchant for creating dramatic scenes in her adarsh bahu mode. Doesnāt mean Iām saying sheās not entitled to say something to Rakhi.
I havenāt read what youāve said above - I can only speak for myself, and I donāt believe in victim-blaming. Iāve said - multiple times - that Rakhi needs to be told off and told to back off.
I donāt see why people pointing out the kappalās hypocrisy alongside saying Rakhi is wrong 100%, is an issue or victim-blaming. The same Abhinav and Rubina that vilified Eijaz for a hi5 an armās length away, were repeatedly dashing into Rahulās personal space (and Allyās too for Abhinav), and even pushed him - multiple times.
Them being pathologically lying hypocrites, out to pull others down, and Rakhi being wrong in what she did, are not mutually exclusive IMO.
