Chapter 9: SIKANDAR 

This is a long update. Hope you will like reading it. 

Recap: Planning, Shree and Rathode Resign,
Commissioner and Rathode talk, Execution of plan, Karan Arjun moment.
The ship has to leave and they go in it to unload at the other end.

They reach the island. Arjun and Rathode take a brief look at the security system.
Rathode then whispers to Arjun "Security bohot tight hai yahan? Aur agar yahaan itni security hai toh Sikandar ke paas toh aur zyaada hogi."

Arjun also agrees with Rathode's concern and replies "Haan yeh toh bohot mushkil hone waala hai"

Then one of the officials scowl "Kya baatein kar rahe ho tum dono wahan? Jaldi jaldi haath chalao aur jaake godown mein rakhdo sab."

The 5 do as they are instructed. And while doing it they are looking in all directions just so they could spot their team.

They finish their work and the other workers are ready to leave. They also get inside the ship. But before the ship departs they escape without anyone's notice and get inside the island.

"Thank God hum time pe nikal gaye wahaan se." says Shree who is heaving sigh of relief.

To which Karan adds "Haan warna saara plan pe paani phir jaata."

"Don't worry guys!! Pehle hume team ka pata lagana hai. Aur uske baad hum Sikandar tak pahunchenge." orders Rathode.

"Haan Rathode lekin usse pehle hum team ka pata kaise lagayenge?" Asks an inpatient Arjun.

"Arjun hum alag alag dek sakte hain." Simmi gives an idea to everyone.

Rathode doesn't agree with the plan and hence says "Nahin Simran aisa kuch nahin kar sakte hum. Waise bhi humein iss island ke baare mein zyaada kuch nahin pata. Kuch bhi ho sakta hai."

Arjun also agrees with what Rathode says and "Haan Simran! jaayenge to saath mein."

"Aur haan koi gusse mein yahaan wahaan mat nikal jaana." Rathode warns Arjun indirectly.

Arjun realizes this and says "Ho gaya? Dhundne ki koshish kare?"

And they walk slowly near the godown where they had kept the containers they see light from one corner. And hence walk towards that direction. The place is jail like and in each cell there are 6-7 members. They try to search for their team in each cell. But no one is found in those cells. Before checking the last cell which is in isolation they all take a deep breath as they have to be mentally prepared. Rathode takes the initiative and looks inside. He freezes.

Seeing that Arjun and Shree also look. They all too freeze. It was their TEAM. The 4 members of the team who were supposedly "dead". But here they were alive and suffering. All of them had sore legs, hands, they were tortured, made to do errands and because of that the whole team was physically and mentally exhausted. They too felt like someone stabbed them with a knife. Shree just sobbed. Hearing that sob all four look outside.

Chotu yelled thinking that it's Sikandar's men "Aye kon hai wahan. Aur chup chup kar kya dekh rahe ho? Hum zinda hai ya nahin? Kan khol kar sun lo jab tak mein hun inn teenon ladkiyon ko kuch nahin hone dunga."

"Chotu jaane do unhe. Woh tumhe bhadkane ki koshish kar rahe hai." Ayesha says trying to calm Chotu down.

"Haan Chotu. Kuch mat karo aisa. Jisse tumhe Sikandar ke haathon phir se.." Sakshi is unable to complete.

Chotu runs towards her and says " Aye Sakshi. Idhar dekh. Mujhe kuch nahin hua hai. Aree thoda sa maara tha uss kamine ne."

"Thoda sa?? Chotu woh thoda sa nahin tha. Tum do din tak nahin hil paaye the." Interrupts Liza.

"Haan Chotu please aur mat kar aise." Ayesha says.

"Areee. inn sab ka badla toh woh log ache se lenge uss Sikandar se." Chotu says

"Haan yeh baat toh sahi hai. Arjun, Sameer, Shree pahunchenge zaroor. Har raat issi umeed se toh hum sab sote hai." Says Sakshi and a small smile creeps on the four's lips.

Listening to this Rathode Arjun and Shree just look at each other and look down feeling helplessness engulf them.

"Lekin unhe der nahin hui hai yahaan aane mein?" asks Sameer from outside feeling disgusted about himself.

To which Liza replies without realizing "Nahin woh log zaroor aayenge." She pauses and then says "Waise guys yeh awaaz Rathode sir jaisi thi na." and she smiles.

"Thi nahi hai." says Shree who is still controlling his sob.

"Specky??" Liza's eyes widens and along with that everyone's.

And all look outside their cell. There they were the "log" whom they were waiting for since 6 years. Nobody had lost hope but energy for sure they lost. They knew their Rathode sir, Arjun sir and Shree would come. It might take years but they would come.

All just look at each other with tears flowing down their eyes. Everyone. Rathode and Arjun too. Looking at them even Karan and Simran have tears rolling down. On the other side Ayesha Sakshi Liza Chotu still can't believe their eyes. They cry and cry.

If not for the bars these 3 would have run towards them and embraced them. But that was not possible. The 4 get up and walk towards them just to see if it's an hallucination. They offer their hand and Shree Arjun Rathode just hold it. They all cry very badly.

The other 3 who can't see them cry anymore just break the lock and enter. Sakshi hugs Arjun, Chotu and Ayesha hug Shree and Liza hugs Rathode. They cry their hearts out. After half an hour they stop. Then they all hug the others.

Chotu cries and says "Sir app log aa gaye. Hum logon ne aapka kitna intezaar kiya."

"Haan Sameer humne tum sabko bohot miss kiya." says Sakshi in a very feeble voice. The chirpy smile of her's is missing

"Miss ki baat aise kar rahi ho jaise holiday par thi?" Arjun says trying to make them all talk more.

"Arjun sir ek bhi din aisa nahin gaya jab humne aap sabko yaad na kiya ho. Aur intezaar na kiya ho." says Liza in a low voice and an acknowledging smile.

"Waise tum sab jaante the hum teenon aayenge?" Asks Shree who is still shocked that despite 6 years passing by they believed.

"Haan jaante the." says Ayesha assuring him.

She then adds "Waise kaise pata chala aap sabko?"

"Sameer ko pata chala tha. Ussne hum sab ko ikhatta kiya." replies Arjun and looks at Ayesha.

"Hmm.." say everyone in unison.

"Yeh dono kon hai?" Liza asks pointing at Karan and Simran

"Yeh Arjun ke saath kaam kar rahe the. 6 saal pehle." Sameer replies to the question

"Ohhh. Nayi team?" asks Chotu

"Nahi. Hum private detectives hai." replies Simran

"Haan hum teenon ne resign kar diya hai." Adds Shree.

"Kya? Kyun?" Ask everyone to the seniors who were always determined towards their work.

"Kyunki inn sab mein humare department ke kayi log shaamil the." answers Rathode with disgust in his voice.

"Haan Arjun sir ne tum logon ke jaane ke baad resign kar diya. Mein Kolkata chala gaya, Rathode sir Headquarters mein files ke sath kaam karne lage. Phir ek din Rathode sir ko pata chala tum sab ke baare mein aur humein ikatta kiya. Yahaan aane se pehle maine aur Rathode sir ne resignation de diya." says Shree answering all the doubts which they had in their minds but couldn't ask.

All are shocked but too tired to react or say anything else hence they all give a small acknowledging smile.

Arjun, Sameer and Shree notice their dull faces and realize that they are not the one prior to the incident they have changed. Anyone would and they knew it very well. They had expected this. Suddenly there is siren which starts. All get up and they see what problem has been caused.

Ayesha then informs them "Sir yeh siren tab bajta hai jab koi problem ho tresspassing ka ya koi aur. Toh aapko yahaan se chale jaana chahiye."

"Yeh Sikandar kaha hai?" Asks Arjun with fire in his eyes.

"Sir uss taraf aapko sambhalke jaana padega. Bohot security hoti hai wahaan." Ayesha answers cautioning them.

"Thik hai. Tum log humara yahin intezaar karna. Hum Sikandar ko maarke hi aayenge." answers Arjun giving them an assuring look.

"Take care everyone." says Sameer and leaves with the rest 4.

"All the Best everyone!" They say in a very low voice due to exhaustion. The five turn back to them smile and leave.

While going ahead they here two security guards (S.G) talking. They all hide in different directions.

S.G 1 with a excited tone says to other one "Tum ne suna ship se paanch logg gayab hai. Sikandar ko pata chal gaya hai. Aur unhe pura yakeen hai ki woh log yahin hai."

To which S.G 2 replies with disappointment "Haan ab humein puri raat jaagke dekhna padega. Kya hai yaar. Jo bhi hai na woh log mujhe lagta hai Sikandar ke dushman honge."

S.G 1 agreeing to what the other said continues "haan mujhe bhi yahi lagta hai. Yeh Sikandar bada kehta rehta na ki koyi uska kuch nahin bigaad sakta. Ab shaamat aa gayi hai usski."

"Toh kya tum log humari madad karoge?" Asks Arjun hiding behind bushes and trees so that they won't know from where is he talking.

"Kon bola yeh?" Asks SG 1 looking in all directions.

"Sikandar ki shaamat." answers Rathode from another direction so that they get confused.

To which the SG 2 says "Agar humein ghar jaane doge toh karenge."

Shree then replies from the other direction "Bilkul jaaoge tum log ghar."

"Thik hai." says the guard who is also eager to go home and meet his family whom he has not met since 4 years.

"Ab jitne bhi logon ko jaante ho jo humaari madad kar sakte hai unhe ikatta karo." orders Arjun. The guards leave from there. No one moves from their places and quietly wait for the guards to come back.

And in half an hour nearly 25 people gather.

"Apne hathyaar aage ki taraf fenko." orders Sameer as they can't trust the guards so easily

And they all obey the orders. Then the 5 come out. Arjun takes 5 rifles and gives it to Rathode, Shree, Karan, Simran.

"Bataiye aap humaari madad kaise karange?" asks an inpatient Security Official.

"Aap pehle yeh bataaiye aap humein kya jaankari de sakte hai?" Rathode asks them in order to first extract information.

"Bohot kuch" answers one official.

"Jaise?" asks Shree.

"Jaise Sikandar ko unchaiyon se bohot dar lagta hai. Issiliye uska qila neeche hi banaya hai. Aur upar saare consignments rakhe jaate hai." answers one guard.

"Lekin wahaan ghusna khatre se khaali nahin hai." says the second one cautioning them.

"Haan lekin meri madad se aap this sakte hai. Aur meri ek shart hai." says the third one confidently.

"Kya?" asks Rathode

"Ki mein zinda bachunga" answers the same guard.

"Tum sab zinda bachoge marega toh bas woh Sikandar. Toh phir humein wahaan ghusne mein madad karo." Says Arjun with all determination and fire in his soul. This was his chance to avenge Roshni's death.

"Thik hai." answer all the guards looking at Arjun's determination.

And all 5 follow them with a pistol aimed at the person whom they are following. As they can't trust anyone. They reach Sikandar's qila and there all 30 attack the other guards. Sikandar gets shocked and he comes out. Arjun who is standing near the door kicks him hard on his face. The intensity is so high that he falls on the floor. Karan Simran and Shree take care of the guards with the other 25 and in the room Arjun and Sameer encircle Sikandar. Arjun is just continuously hitting him. At first Sameer allows him but then he stops Arjun from going further.

"Arjun! Ruk jaao aur mat maaro." says Sameer trying to stop him.

"Rathode yeh tum kya keh rahe ho isse toh zinda nahin chodne waala mein." says Arjun yelling at Rathode's sudden change

"Ruk jaao. Isse department ke hawale karte hai." And looks at Arjun hoping he would understand the situation. But fails.

"Tu isse uss department ke hawale karega jo isske andar jate hi isse chuda degi. Hosh mein toh hai tu? Nahin isse toh main zinda nahin chodunga." Arjun scowls at Rathode and continues hitting Sikandar.

"Rawate ruk." Sameer orders Arjun. But he doesn't.

Sikandar then laughs devilishly and says "Baat maanlo ACP ooops sorrry ab toh tu ACP nahi raha na! (giggles) Baat manlo Arjun Rawate. ACP Sameer ek dam sahi bol raha hai."

At this point Rathode turns on the web cam, one of Shree's gadgets which was attached to his shirt in order to collect his statement. So that later Arjun won't be punished.

Sikandar doesn't realize that and continues with anger "Tum aur tumhara department mera kuch nahi bigaad sakte. Tumne jaise mere bhai ko maara waise hi maine tumhari pyaari biwi ko maarke tumse badla le liya." He pause looks at them and then continues giggling "Oh uss din toh Anniversary thi na tum logon ki. Tch tch tch. bohot bura hua. Itna sab hone ke baad bhi tu nahin ruka. Mere organ trafficking ka raaz bhi kholna chahta tha tu. Acha hua maine uss minister ki madad se tere team ko uda diya."

He stops and looks at both of them and with a evil smile continues "Areee che! (smacks himself) woh toh teri team hi nahin thi woh toh koi aur log the. Teri team toh mere paas hai 6 saal se. (laughs devilishly) Unse mile? Mile hi honge. Hai na? Kaisa laga unhe dard mein dekhkar. Roz unhe tadpata tha main." Arjun and Rathode clench their fist in anger. The pressure is so much that because of the nails their palm starts bleeding.

Seeing them suffer Sikandar continues "Maza aata tha. Majdoor ki tarah kaam karte the woh yahaan. Mera business bhi unki wajah se kaafi bada. Jo sukoon milta tha mujhe Arjun Rawate, unko tinka tinka maarkar aur tere sabse kareebi logon ko tadpakar. Bechare! Lekin yeh teri galti ki sazaa hai Arjun Rawate. Mujhse panga nahin lena chahiye tha tujhe." and glares at Arjun.

Arjun now unable to control his anger continues hitting him badly. Arjun screams "Tujhe mein zinda nahin chodunga!!" His voice cracks but he still continues. Sikandar doesn't defend himself as he feels Rathode will save him again.

And Rathode does the same "Ruko Rawate hum isse jaan se nahin maar sakte. Yeh humein aur information de sakta hai." says Rathode while stopping Rawate

Sikandar looks at Rathode with a "i-knew-it" look and continues "Ab mujhe custody mein loge puch-taach karoge, lekin kuch pata nahin chalega aur do din mein main chutkar waapas aa jaunga main."

"Mujhe mere department par pura bharosa hai. Woh iss baar galti nahin karegi. Aur tujhe tere gunaahon ki sazaa deke rahegi." says Rathode who is instigating him again and again so he gives an important lead.

Arjun gets annoyed at this behaviour of Rathode's "Kya baat kar rahe ho Rathode? Tujhe ab bhi humare department par bharosa hai. Woh log bharose ke laayak nahin hai"

Sikandar then adds in order to get Arjun to his team "Yeh bewakoof hai (looking at Rathode) Arjun Rawate. Isse ab bhi uss department par bharosa hai. Lekin tum toh smart ho. Haath mila lo mujhse. Department ka jeena haraam karenge hum log."

Rathode knew that Arjun won't do anything as such but he had something in his mind hence he continued "Rawate usski baat mat maan. Tum log pakde jaaoge. Kanoon ke haath bohot lambe hai Rawate. Tum tak zaroor pahunchenge."

Sikandar listens to Rathode's dialogue and laughs. Arjun and Sameer both look at him. He then pauses and says "Lekin iss kanoon ka rakshak jab khud mere papa Home Minister Sayed ho tab kya karoge? Woh kuch bhi karenge lekin humein aanch tak aane nahin denge Arjun. Yakin karo."

Sameer smiles lightly as he had got what he wanted.

"Toh tere saare illegal kaam tera baap sambhalta hai?" Arjun asks with anger filled voice and clutches Sikandar's collar.

"Aur nahin toh kya yahaan sab mein sambhalta hun aur Mumbai mein papa. Aur agar ab tum mujhe maaroge toh mere papa tum sab ko faansi dilaane ka bhi power rakhte hai. So soch samajh ke. Time hai tumhare paas." says Sikandar thinking that he has won and removes Arjun's hand from his collar.

"Achha?? Thank you." says Sameer and gives him a smile.

This confuses both Arjun and Sikandar. Sikandar then asks "Kissliye?"

"For the confession. Tumhe pata hai tumhaare aur Arjun mein sirf ek chiz common hai. Jab gussa aata hai dimaag se kaam karna band kar dete ho." Arjun glares at Rathode for this but Rathode ignores it.

He then continues "Issiliye maine Arjun ko tumhe pehle maarne se nahin roka jisse tumhara gussa badta aur tum sab sach ugal dete. Aur haan mujhe department par ab bharosa nahin hai lekin khud par hai. Main toh tumhe sazaa dilwaake hi rahunga just wait and watch." saying so Rathode gives him the ultimate winning smile and turns to Arjun.

Arjun also looks at him and passes a small smile thinking "Sameer itna kaise soch leta hai?"

Suddenly the door opens and its the guards who had helped them.

Sameer looks at Sikandar and says "Tumne ek kaam acha kiya Sikandar inn logon ko naukri pe rakha. Kaafi madad hui humari."

"Good job everyone and Thank you! Ab hum yahaan se nikal sakte hai." says Sameer looking at the guards.

Arjun looks at them and smiles. Sikandar uses this as a perfect opportunity to kill Arjun and save himself. He raises his revolver to shoot at Arjun when suddenly Rathode notices that and pushes Arjun away.

The bullet hits Sameer and he falls down to the ground. Seeing this Arjun fires continuously at Sikandar. The first shot kills him but Arjun's anger has gone beyond reach. Hence he empties all the bullets into Sikandar.

Arjun sees Sameer lying there on the ground and goes near him. Arjun screams in his topmost voice "SIKANDAR!!!!"

Sikandar is dead!! Yaayyy.. but Rathode is shot. Sikandar's chapter is done here. No more Arjun suffering because of Sikandar. But this time it's not only Arjun who suffered but others too-
