But I do get what you are trying to say. Tbh, even with Shivaay, in the beginning it was such a love hate relationship. Like I would question my own moral compass to be shipping him with her. It was like pull-push you know. He was and MCP especially with his NKK jhaap and putting Anika down all the time to the point of questioning her capability at her work. Even Asad was. Like we discussed, basically all of Gul leads are alphaholes to a certain extent. The classic ITV ML. With time though, things obviously changed with all of them. Doesnt make it okay, I know. But guilty there.
So right now, in Shaurya, I am seeing all those MLs in the beginning of those shows. They had their MCP-ness more muted, he has it all out and is an out and out hypocrite me thinks. But again I havent watched as much to form a complete judgement.
Also, isnt the show also a Bangla remake?

Yup i am a out gor shaurya, maybe that's just my personal preference. But what annoys me is shivaay ka nkk jaap applied to everyone na men or women..
Asad ka conservatism..same case men or women..maybe a little more for women.
But both of them respected women and they did consider women equal to men.
With shaurya, he doesn't respect women.
I've yet to see a scene where he puts men women equally. I'd rather you have anger issues like sobti's charcter in ipkknd or be conservative like asad or arrogant and riding a high horse like shivaay. But if you show that your ml doesn't respect women then sorry, it's a gamechanger me.
Logically because a the other arcs can still be handled and mistakes shown in their redemption arcs can be put aside.
But if you're showing *planning to show* this kinda redemption arc like shaurya's ... it's verryyy tough like climbing everest tough because a single mistake your ml makes will put him 100 steps backwards!!
