Part 40

The Drive to the Party was So quiet and suffocating that Geet felt That she would be anywhere than to be here in the same car with Maan and God knows what he will do in the party, if he goes on avoiding her. She believed if She comes to the party then he may at least look at her !! She sighed feeling a part of her broke more than it already was!! How more she has to endure!!!?

Her eyes welled up, but she didn't let it slid down, she controlled herself biting her lower lip. Maan stopped the car at the grand hotel, geet looked around noticing the crowd of cars in the parking lot.

"Geet i will park the car, you just wait here hmm?" Maan said barely looking at her.

"But .." She interviewned as she was afraid that she didnt want to be left alone in this huge parking lot without him, she was feeling nervous!!

"Geet don't behave like a child be mature !!! im not going to leave you here, will come back soon after parking the car" He barked glancing at her, Geet immediately nodded looking at his enraged form.

stepping down she watched as Maan's car zoomed into the parking area. she fidgetted her hands feeling more nervous than ever, there was media everywhere and she had never seen this kind of parties let alone went there.

"Geet?" A voice behind her startled her and she looked behind to see the source, her eyes widened looking at the person !!!

"OH D-Dev?" She stuttered, can the day get more dreadful than this !! what will Maan think when he comes face to face with him. her heartbeat raised just imagining about outcomes !!

"Yes, it's been long, how are you and you here?" Dev said smiling at her.

"I-Im good, yeah just came here with my husband" Geet said faking a smile.

"You are married!!!?" Dev looked shocked looking at her form that was clad in marriage symbols.

"Geet chale?" Maan reached looking at geet, his eyes shifted to Dev and instantly his face hardened, his jaws clenched Making Geet gulp down in fear. Dev noticing the tension between them immediately understood that Maan singh khurana is Geet's husband. he forwarded his hands to him but maan just gave a stiff nod and took Geet by her waist shocking her.

"Chale" He said looking at geet. She nodded and both went away leaving the awkward Dev behind.

"Behave" Maan ordered Geet in a whisper, sqeezing her waist slightly Smiling at the media around them. But Geet was even more afraid and nervous looking at all the attention they were getting. young ladies were looking at her with evny and some were eyeing Maan as if he was a chocolate candy she made a disguste face, and looked away from them.

"Welcome Mr and Mrs khurana finally glad to see you both" Mr kapoor said smiling at them, when they entered into the Huge Grand Hall decorated with Various Lights and Flowers shimmering brightly in Night light

"Thank you Mr kapoor, we couldn't miss your success meet now do we?" Maan said slightly smiling at the old man.

"Haha off course young man, so now won't you introduce me to your beautiful wife" Mrs kapoor said beside him smiling lovingly at the couple.

"Off course, This is My wife Geet Maan singh khurana and Geet this is Mr kapoor dear best friend of dad and also the CEO of kapoor industries" Maan said looking at Geet. while Geet smiled at them nodding her head awkwardly saying Namaste, they both smiled at her gesture and complemented her how angelic she looks. Maan and Mr kapoor talked about bussiness and Mrs kapoor took Geet away from Maan saying she wants to introduce her to some people. Geet looked at Maan to see him nodding his head at her, her face droped as she didn't want to leave him, she quite didn't know how to interact with new persons and everything around her was making her feel uneasy.

Geet went away with Mrs kapoor and she introduced geet to her cousins and friends. it was almost half an hour and she was feeling bored as they all were talking about bussiness, she looked around for Maan but he was nowhere to be seen!! she felt disappointed as how can he just leave her alone with the people she barely knew?? she retreated saying she wants to go to restroom.

"Dusht, Danav! Babaji aisa koii karta hai kya, how irresponsible can he get?" Geet cursed washing her hands, soon she heard someone talking about Maan, she stood behind the wall to hear them clearly, she didn't want to be a spy but she couldn't help when it comes to her husband !!

"Did you see how sameera was clinging to Maan, He is married now, how can she just wrap herself around him?" One lady said making Geet heartbeat quicken!!

"Yaar vusko kya problem hogi agar banda itna hot aur handsome ho? Vaise bhi he was not avoiding her touch, infact it was like he was enjoying it !!" Said the other lady.. Geet shuddered hearing them. her knees went weak, she felt as if she was going to faint with a breakdown, can her broken heart be crushed more than it was?? they both were still talking but she had enough !!! she couldn't hear more !! She went away wiping her tears.

"Geet you fine?" Dev asked sitting infront of her, he can make out that she was sad and he wants to make her feel good !!

"Not Now Dev please, can anyone please give me some damn space, is it too difficult to ask?" Geet snapped feeling angry tears. She was feeling angry now as she searched for Maan for than 30 minutes like a lost love sick lady searching every nook and corner of the hotel, but he was still nowhere to be seen.

"Woah im sorry young lady, i was just asking !! hmm i do know whom you are searching and your dear husband is in the garden area having a drink with his clients!" Dev said slighlty smiling at her.

"S-sorry, can you take me there please" geet mumbled looking at him, she always knew dev was a gentlemen, when he was with her 2 years back he was always good with her, never expected anything in return, when she apologised to him about not wanting to get engaged to him, he understood her and said it was ok and they can still be friends. that was how he was ! A good past friend of her.

"Hmm only if you say that we are still friends? " Dev asked cheekily making Geet smile.

"Off course" She said smiling more. they both stood up to go but was greeted with Maan himself, who stood in front of them glaring hardly at Dev. Geet's smile faded looking beside Maan. Sameera was wrapping her arms around his smirking at her devilishly.

Maan pulled away from sameera moving towards Geet in two long strides. He was struggling to free himself from Mr kappor and other clients from past half an hour, but the Noida client of his had brought the important files which Maan has to sighn immediately, So he was occupied with him for past one hour, and he allowed sameera to rearrange the files as he wants to finish off this soon and go to Geet, He was worried that he left her all alone there, one look at her beautiful angelic form wrapped in a blue saree and he can feel his heartbeat raise like a maniac, the way her swan like neck, her curvy waist exposed to his eyes made him desire her so much that his heart began to ache !, he wants to claim her infront of those Men who were eyeing his wife, punch them and yell that She was his in every damn way. Only he knew how kept himself without looking at her past 2 weeks, he can see how nervous she was in the party! he wants to comfort her make her feel ease but one look at dev made him feel enraged, he reckoned may be she was looking and waiting for him but glancing at her smiling and laughing with Dev made him feel like how more foolish can he get?? The Green Monster took over him and he grabbed the Near by drink and gulped it in one go, he wants to do anything to Make this pain in his throbbing chest go away and he will make sure of that.

"Oh I see you found someone for your company wifey? I don't think I'm needed here?" Maan hissed in her ears.

"What?" Geet asked, her throat went dry at his cold voice, her heart beating furiously under her chest, It was she who got to be angry on him not the other way round! How dare he! Just then a loud voice interrupted them.

"Common everyone it's time to hit the dance floor!!" Someone yelled through the Mike.

"Maan Come na one dance with me" sameera said forwarding her hand to Maan who was still glaring at Geet.

Maan being seen Both Dev and Geet together took this chance to hurt geet accepting sameer's offer while smirking at Geet's blank face...

He Pulled sameera Closer and Danced With her so passionately that Geet felt totally shattered, the ladies voice flickers in her mind making her go all numb, it means they were all true!, somehow she was hoping that Maan was not like they said but Alas!! .. she can now indeed see that it he was not the Man she loved once!! He was Now a Ruthless, Arrogant, Egoistic Man who didn't care about his own wife and leaving her all alone in the party full of drunk People!! He didnt even look at her properly!! Tears threatened to form in her eyes, But she controlled them looking at his smirking form, All the while His eyes were observing her, Smirking at her shattered form!! Did she realize what he was feeling when he had seen her with Dev, can she feel his anguish?? May be He thought smirking devilishly but Geet had Enough of His, Enough of him hurting her!! She turned around and Ran all the way to Exit !! Her tears finally slid down her Cheeks... She could hear Maan's voice behind her, Catching up to her, but she Ran faster reaching The garden Area.

"Geet you fine?" Dev's voice cried out behind her.

"Dev can you please Drive me to Home! please" Geet sobbed. Dev instantly said yes and brought the car, She settled in the car and he drove Geet to KM within 15min. Mumbling a quick thanks she went inside the dark Mansion, she was glad that it was mid night and Everyone asleep!

Just when She reached Inside the room, She felt herself Pinned to the wall by Strong arms and A pair of Lips crash onto hers Roughly making her Gasp in fear....

Maan is really crossing all limits. He is assuming things and hurting Geet. Looks like more misunderstanding on the way 😔

Really maan. How much you are assuming and ofcourae dev had to be there to make it worse. Maan misunderstood even more. Can he not see how much he is hurting her

yes he was jealous seeing dev with her. But did he care to know where she was and how she was the rest of the time??

He is sucessful man but failed to understand human emotions he was hurt but now he can try to give chance to judge her but he is too scared

Geet too know now how he mistook everything so dev presence too make him insecure and angry
