I have to wonder how many of ITV's writers are men, or women who are entrenched in that cycle of misogyny. Mukta may be creative head but what about the other writers on the staff...

Any woman who had an ounce of self-respect would not be okay with perpetuating this regressive trope.

@ Dhairya, WORD. Women might get ideas above our station if we were to somehow find out that there's more to life than mahaan sacrifices and ansoon ki baltis. But maybe that's a longer conversation for a different thread 🤔

I honestly think this is a women team because men would love to glorify themselves here and not the woman. Because remember being a doormat is a. Form of glory. it saddens me that there is a generation out there watching this alphahole crap and thinking this behaviour Is acceptable and they should just take it. Because it’s not and that’s why the cycle never ends.

What irritates me is the hypocrisy..even with fictional characters you can't be this level of hypocrite...would any of the writers tolerate such behaviour in real life or let anyone behave with their family and friends!! Nah, then why would you write such crap and think its okay to show that for such a mass audience.
