Thing is that, most people who love rubina, They may or may not actually love rubina, they definitely love shakti or chhoti bahu. And they relate to or feel the pains of these characters, their struggles, their fate, their fight for the right, the injustice they go through.

Isliye, rubina, juhi, deepika jaise log jeette hain. As they represent those charaters!
