Agreed so far yeh and is the only grey character but I think she is too insensitive and excessive too in her 23 tareekh toh 23 tareekh hi order de rahi hai and it is too much and more on humiliation end only when Aditya ki mom and taiji have to fold their hands and be like try to understand I am sorry but why itna beg karna this woman is plain insensitive and gives no 2 hoots about the family she is sending her daughter in and automatically hi unhe khrab log samjh ke bhaithi despite them being super polite she is continuously rude towards them itna sa bhi courtesy nahi hai

Also yeh malini is too extra in her mujhe phone nahi kia mera gift kya lia and despite her being professor seems kaafi immature with her call me every min esp when she knows ke he is out on work in a village where there could be danger and also out of reach area she seems too nagging with all that and I laughed when at one point adi had to be like yeha I will come but you Don't take leave on this stupid reason woh toh raazi thi

Also mujhe bohat ajeeb lag raha hai ke iss sab main Aditya ne ek baar bhi apni family se contact mahi kia and how this shehri shaadi is being arranged bohat hi ajeeb lag raha hai mujhe yeh all of them passionately getting ready for shaadi when we haven't seen a single interaction I think that could've made the connection better right now they seem like a 3rd storyline but like happening in some other world all together esp with that anu ka continuous rudeness. Malini seems pyar main andhi who really is short sighted and hence she keps calling and expecting calls and insecure toh hai hi with just hearing some girl in lodge in bg she goes all suspicious katlab he told her he is at a lodge toh koi bhi ho sakta hai na reception pe itna kya uchalna just caz you heard a girl

I LOVEDDD This moment itna raw and powerful she really did came across as durga in this i think that was what the shloks in the bg were refereeing too yet the helplessness 2 secs later when they both face each other her begging ke iske paas aur koi choice nahi thi just the sheer contrast in few secs Lovely manifestation of one being so courageous and brave yet so fragile and vulnerable due to circumstances..

also i do have to appreciate ke babusahib even then were fully committed and not for a moment shook from his faisla and were ready toput his life on line but dhokebaazi nahi that is A very strong characteristic aisa usually hota nahi hai jab jaan pe baat aati hai toh yeh heroes bheegi billi banke main kya karta ho jaate hain he is ready to even die like literally and did not flinch just closed his eyes and accepted it but apni commitment pe khara raha even though idk if that malini deserves that kind of commitment still it was good to see

what i esp like is how they have built the trust between these 2 so far and ofcourse it is gonna keep building abhi toh bas shuruat hi hai but one sees that strong faith in their interactions

Oh man my poor poor imlie 🤗🤗 the girl has just gone numb and is so exhausted bechari ko bohat hi zyada dhakka lag gaya.. the dhabba Sscene is very aesthetically done and it breaks your heart for this girl🥺 with how she is told ke she is kuch nahi moments after even when she voluntarily had backstepepd and told him ke woh kisi se luch nahi kahegi awww sach main nakku ki parchhayi dikhi usmein in terms of her saaf dili

That scene in washroom is so.typical of yeh forced marriages and itni baar dekha hai ke ab kind of cliche ho gaya hai yet here it made me feel so strongly for her I mean the whole sequence of events even the bidaai the girl.was so in shock

Babu sahib is irritated abhi and is focused only on how he will face his family walks I felt a bit irritated with him ke ek baar bhi iss ladki ka nahi soch raha and being cruel to her with hsi sharp words but then it is understandable he thinks she took the choice away and zabardasti bandh gayi and also the fact that whens he agrees he's reminded of her shehar jaane ka sapna so he doubts ke she used him as a step.to get to shehar too and that is my understanding caz of that VO they played in that scene I posted caps above of. It's almost ironic that on one hand on The same scene he goes wait hold on she's a kid she doesn't understand the severity of it and in the very next moment he gets that VO in his head and he gets a doubt on her.

My heart broke for this girl into 10x when she sits in the cab and goes well it was always a sapna but like this nooo.

Hates off to this girl she is making me cry 😢 😭 yes I didn't knew I had it in me to be so.emotional at aaj kal ka daily soaps but her acting was so.on point it moved me and I wanted to protect her so badly. She is EXCELLENT all throughout but esp in these episodes such a natural she is and the switch from the over talkative chirpy little girl to this lost girl. Few moments was all it took for her life to turn upside down.

ladki toh hai hi reveal a i expected her to be better na dekhte huye bhi show i knew ke yeh buri actress nahi hai bas show ke concept se we were put off and weren't interested caz yeh article 15 main ayushmaan ke saath thi and she was pretty darn good in that film i think we all fell in love with the maid there she was charming in that too

Haha@ Telepathy *high fives*....yep, I think anyone who's watched LTL/DN will feel the similarities....because she is also a maid in his house right now and there is the "Saab/Babusahib" bit....but beyond that, yes, it's the way in the aftermath of the shaadi, she struggles between a sehmi hui version kinda scared of him, and then finding her inner strength to blast him from time to time.....that's giving more Nakku deja vu.

This girl has a very sweet smile and aakhon mein ek chamak hai that is charming. Ekdum woh bedhadak happy baccha types.....like you won't even realize when you grow to fall in love with her.....lol.....I think that is part of why Adi resents her and actually lashes out at her to push her away.....he probably feels if he lowers his guard, she will worm her way into his heart and then he will feel like he betrayed Malini.

I was thinking....she was so fearless before the shaadi because she was in her comfort zone in a sense and didn't feel tied down to anyone/anything. But when she got married to him, for the first time, she felt acute loneliness in her life....I think that was part of what was feeding her initial sehma hua demeanor around him....she felt so unsure about what to do next - looking at him with trepidation because he was the only person she was attached to in this new place and then he would keep saying hurtful things to her.....that is why her trauma kept spilling out in tears too I think. It wasn't typical bechaari FL wala reaction.....nuance tha.....probably helped by the fact that this girl can act.

Re: Marathi accent....lol yes, almost every Marathi actor I've seen has accented Hindi.....even Sumedh has an accent in the way he pronounces some Hindi words. I guess Madhuri is an exception😆

Gul seems to be quite interested in pulling ppl from Marathi movies/ shows recently....she tried it for one of the IB leaps also but it flopped big time😆....that girl was a total misfit in IB.

Imlie and Adis current GF are half sisters. Imlies dad does seem to have genuinely loved Malini? It came across like that in second episode. Would like to know his story, was he already married when he met Malini? Or was he forced to marry his current wife? Or it was Ek hi bhool?

Adi- Imlies first meeting was shot nicely. He was literally sweeped of his feet in a whirlwind Bechara didn’t even know what happened.

His GF ( I didn’t catch her name) also seems nice till now.

Arey GF ka name is Malini only na😆.....yes, Imlie-Malini are half-sisters. Abhi their father's backstory hasn't been fully revealed....I just learnt that his name is Dev😆. Imlie's mom's name is Meethi, not Malini😆.....and yes, Dev does seem to have genuinely loved her but abandoned her later.

Currently, they are showing him getting deja vu of Meethi each time he talks to Imlie and he thinks Imlie might know her since she is from the same village - Pagdandiya.....looks like he doesn't know that Meethi gave birth to his daughter.

Haan this was the scene I was mentioning earlier to you.....they played that "Aigiri Nandini" chant on Imlie in this....lol some TRP masala....but haan they played it earlier also I think in the first epi on her.

This was a good moment, and I liked it more so for the parallel that came before it.....when Aditya saw her scared and stepped in front of her to shield her from the villagers and the way she looks at him there totally surprised and touched that he'd do that for her......I think that was part of why she also leapt to his defense so fiercely.....how could she let the man who stood up to defend her be killed like this?

And the epi before this....their cycle ride through the village, the baarish scenes....and her concern for his injured foot....LOL@ her calling it his punctured tire😆.....kaafi subtly dikhaya dono ka ek dusre ke liye concern on a human level. I also liked their convo in the hut when they are waiting out the rain....when he talks about kismat and she says ki kismat khud banaani padti hai. What was remarkable was the fact that they were having such a normal/relaxed convo as regular human beings rather than getting OTT hyper about being in the same place overnight. That was refreshing to watch....yes, Imlie was worried but mainly cuz she knew how her Naani would make an issue out of it.....khud se "Haaye raam" types nahin thi.....Imlie hasn't been shown as a typical village girl and that has made this refreshing so far.

Re: babusahib ka resolve....lol yeah he was quite determined and willing to die to keep his promise rather than be forced into something like this....principled dikhaya hai isko. Also liked how he was trying to maturely push back at Naani talking crap ki how can you talk about your grand-daughter in such cheap terms? Matlab he was talking like a mature adult there, faltu ka cheekhna nahin kar raha tha.....

+1 to all of this plus the uncertainty adds up too caz dekha jaaye toh he did try to peecha chudhao from her initially yeh alag baat hai ke he does have a heart and insaaniyat phew rare for ML's but it exists so when he sensed danger he took the risk of taking her home

She affects him caz of her innocence and ek dum bebaak things she ends up saying in moments least expected like how she just says she wouldn't even whisper to anyone as who would even know the truth just after marriage or how she takes the burden off his shoulders by coming up with maid wali story khudse and leaves him speechless or now this epi 18 wala scene what a lovely scene it is how she finally let's it all out with her don't pity yourself as you haven't lost anything as such it is me who is lonely all alone in a strange new place absolutly👏 Seedha dil ko lagne wala

Word about one doesn't even know when they fall in love with her guts to hain ladki main aur himmat bhi I like that despite everything she isn't a defeatest e.g the way she used her wedding chunni to make the little mandir in her room and cheer herself up. She does try to be normal but then he comes in front of her daant lagooes her and act all stranger like caz of his guilt of doing wrong with both the ladies and not being honest she goes all weak caz well kissay hurt nahi hoga when she literally came on his bhaorsa has noway of being in touch with her only rishta I.e her mother as such like everyother person now call bhi landline se woh old style.main postoffice karna padti hai tough toh hai

I really am enjoying how she has made her presence in the household they all dote on her like she is their actually family member and that is such a rare maalik naukar bonding to witness literal nakhre uttha rahe hain treating her like their own beti hi and when they make mistakes kitna genuinly maafi manage hain yeah maybe such families exist in tv only but the way they all said sorry to her awww
