Does your opinion about a celebrity changed due to IF? - Page 2

I was never a die-hard fan or a follower of any celebrity. After seeing the idol worshipping on IF, I love bashing all of them equally... no favorites...

Have developed sympathy for Alia though...

I've started learning to disassociate the celeb's personal life from professional life. For ex, I used to like Mr Bachchan and think he was free from scandals etc before getting to know the reality from IF, Reddit etc... and the more I got to know, the more I realised I just liked his on-screen work and that the off-screen persona is fake and carefully manufactured etc. So while it took time, I now see him and just associate him with his on-screen work.

Before IF I used to actually like some celebrities. Now I hate all of them.

My opinion about a celeb can only changed by how they behave in public and their offscreen persona

For e.g.

I almost ended upto hating Tiger during 2014-15 phase, because of all the trolling and bashing he got on social media.

But his off-screen interviews, politeness, hardwork and overall persona REALLY changed the way I perceived him.👍🏼

His trolling was insane....but he never ever reacted defensively in his interviews, appearances etc.

He's an out-and-out gentlemen.👏

Yami Gautam is another such actor. Though she was never trolled, but I always assumed ye to arrogant type hogi but she won me over through her off-screen personality.

General perception about Mallika Sherawat is bad because of her film image.... but she is actually quite intelligent and likable in her interviews.

My opinions about Bollywood changed drastically, especially my love about it in the last 7 months. I don't find myself loving Bollywood anymore. I come here because this is the only place that provides me the anonymity to express my thoughts. I no more engage in fan wars n all (barring my love for Mansoor).

nope, it has to be due to their own pr or just people treating them like the greatest thing since slice bread while putting down others. It's their own action.

I don’t really passionately care about celebrities - minus one or two or three or four exceptions

So I’ll only ‘appear’ to hate certain celebrities when I desperately need one of my favourites to win a poll. Then after hating on them, I secretly go and enjoy their movies.

I used to like Madhavan... Now even that is gone after he started endorsing a certain brand that teaches coding to kids
