Anika had my heart too. I had seen SC as Haya and took notice of her as a good performer there. But IB was where she really won me over with her range of acting and capabilities. Anika, as a character, had a personality which she held on to and although that got watered down after a point, her qualities still set her apart from the rest of the FLs. Especially from the bahu types. Even if subtly, I like the small characteristics and quirks they gave both Shivaay and Anika, the hair flips, the bracelets, their cooking (or its lack of). The details gave them more depth. Gul does those really well. Shivaay was definitely always on the forefront at a time when most MLs would take a backseat, once the love story is over. In fact the story almost always revolved around him and Anika. (Although to the chagrin of the some fans haha). Also love that the show had the other familial relationships progressing alongside.

We'll have to wait a lot to see SharBhi a lot for sure. Onscreen ...and even offscreen. If it requires though, I will be cribbing and venting alongside you too😆. But I most definitely do NOT want to watch SC in BB. Just No. The show is the easiest way to destroy one's reputation imo. I really hope Surbhi never thinks or considers of it. Her career doesn't need it anyway.

I will hate it if they do take this to the finale, do one episode wrap up and tie it in with the new show. Is it too much to ask to have them together, as in one team together-together. Not this way. Ugh. I don't want a tragic ending either.

WORD on all of this. Anika was the first time I saw SC in anything. I have a lot of goodwill towards SC because of Anika, so even when sometimes I agree her performance could have been better here or there, she earned a lot of that goodwill long ago, and I'm always willing to give her my time. Otherwise I was fed up with seeing the same kind of cookie-cutter actresses over the last few years (no offence to anyone) since the major Ks went off-air.

Agreed re: her on BB though. I do not need to see that, and I don't think her career needs it either.

@Pinky. I found her to be such a relatable and endearing character - one of my favs too. My favourite scene of hers has to be when she bursts out regarding her insecurity at not being able to speak English as well, being classy, not being good enough as an Obroi family member and being made to meet Shivaay's circle or bring an Obroi bahu. The acting was top notch. I started tearing up and my heart went out for Pinky. She had a whole arc. Was a disappointment when they pulled that stunt with her character in the middle and it went for a toss and then kinda cam back. The actress (Nikita I guess?) was amazing in it! Even Tej and Jhanvi had a whole story going on.

I'm kinda sad the blast thing is scrapped cause it means extending the memory loss *sigh*

I loved that Pinky scene too, and that's sort of what made me even madder when they ruined her. Pinky was basically the Anika of her generation in many ways - lower class family, poor English, not quite to "Oberoi standard". So when she acted above Anika as if she couldn't remember how she was made to feel as a young bahu, it made the whole situation so much worse. Literally kyunki saas bhi kabhi bahu thi type thing.

I do it just to confirm ki I don't read the ending/climax when I'm in a mood that's starkly different to what the ending is..i wouldn't ever want to read a sad ending when I'm deriliously happy so😬

Khair, sad endings toh vaise bhi pasand nhi hai mjjhe..mera toh simple sa motto hai..life mai vaise hi itni problems sadness hai, watch/read enjoy something that's happy, that makes you happy🤗

I am so glad I am not on my own here 😆 it took a lot to admit that problem out loud 🤣 I hate sad endings in my head I am like I use fiction to escape reality why would read something sad 🤔
