No ball- an invalid ball because the bowler has overstepped the line he should have minded. So, which can fetch you extra runs if you hit it well and basically you cannot be dismissed for any reason if the ball is invalid no ball - no hit wicket, no catch etc ... Only run out is valid on no balls i.e when the batsman fails to return from his run and touch the crease line before the ball hits the wickets. However, if you play a shot on a no ball in such a way that it goes back to the bowler and he catches the ball, you don't get out but you lose the chance to score extra runs despite the bowlers mistake 🤣 
Hit wicket when a batsman unknowingly or carelessly hits the stumps behind him to drop the bails that precariously rest on the stumps. It's like khaya piya Kuch Nahi glass foda, baaraana 😂
