Guys the best would be if govt initiate a campaign and ask the three GECs to provide a special channel for finite quality content. Sony dont need to do rhat as they already have quality series shows. Other channels can tie up with foreign show makers and even remake those shows in their premium channel. Few shows will be fully original, few will be foreign dubbed and few will be adaptations. ❤️

There was a Turkish show on Zindagi called A Love Story. It was nice at first but later became irritating and annoying at the way the ML was stopping everyone knowing whose son he is. Turkish show makers should stop watching ITV and taking inspirations from it on how to drag a show.

Do you liked that show? Do you also feel it was like Indian daily soap but with more men given importance?

As the controversy over the TRP scam deepens, a four-member government-appointed committee has suggested that at least 5 lakh homes should be sampled for calculating viewership data, according to media reports. Currently, 50,000 homes are sampled for arriving at TV ratings.

The committee has also reportedly recommended that the survey should cover more rural and untapped areas.

According to a report, the government is also looking at technological solutions to help the system. Further, it is taking into account TV on mobile, which is being used by a large number of people to watch content these days.

The committee headed by Prasar Bharati CEO Shashi Shekhar Vempati was formed in November. It was appointed to strengthen the TRP system in the country following the uproar over alleged manipulation of ratings. The committee submitted the suggestions to Union I&B Minister Prakash Javadekar last week.

Great indeed. 😁 Bohot bada difference aayega trp charts mein plus considering online ratings (Mobile on tv in their language) will make the good quality content shows topper in the list.

Yaar Dahleez, POW jaise shows iss time ke baad aatein toh bilkul hit ho jaate. But who knows seeing the humungous change sp may renew the show for new seasons.

Agr 5lakh samples ke baad quality shows ki ratings aaye toh im sure sp will be first one to introduce such shows....as they badly want to change content but har baar woh fail hote hai isliye unhe remake route apnanaya hai
