Episode 171 - Ride or Die

A fun packed episode

An episode on completion of which i said "Ye Kya tha..Ye Kyun Tha"

While our world's most cutest jagga jasoos Riddhima tries to sneak out for a long drive alone at midnight, her baaz ki nazar pati dev keeps a keen eye on her and subtly tells her that he monitors her every move.

However she finally gets a chance in the morning and flies off without looking back.

Vansh, sensing his wife's absence gets up and goes on a search and realizes that his baaz ki nazar is only as good as angre's detective agency when compared to his petite wife's Spying skills.

Riddhima realises that the brakes don't work and goes on a fast and furious ride leading to innocent passerby making a somersault.

Vansh and angre perform a short driving lesson in the meantime while looking for Riddhima. Angre the instructor teaches the tricks and turns and the shortcuts to a good driving while Vansh plays the obedient L board student.

The Rai singhanias younger ones on the other hand plays the loving sibilings for once and rushes behind Vansh to calm him down. Despite aryan's behaviors, That little pat on the shoulder to sia when she was talking about her accident was endearing.

Riddhima prays to bappa to save her today..Interesting it is back to bappa now.

Bappa was up there going .."You remember me now...you remember me only when you are in trouble or when u make trouble..Jab rishta bachana tha tab mata rani pe hi vishwaas tha na..Jao apne mata rani ke paas". I can imagine a cute angry nose and pouty bappa turning his face to her calls of help.

Angre succesfully directs vansh to Riddhima which makes me wonder if he should close his investigation agency and get a job in Google maps..It would be much hotter to hear " Take a left after 10km" in his voice.

Vansh plays the loving husband by trying to save riddhima and comes in front of her to take the full blow of the speed while Riddhima plays a loving wife in turning the car at the exact moment to make sure vansh is not hurt and in the process making angre the almost bali ka bakra

A dramatic last 10 mins where Vansh saves riddhima singlehandedly while angre stands behind going "I did not sign up for this".

Riddhima confronts Vansh about him hiding everything from her while the Sia along with Ishani and Aryan who has arrived at the exact moment reveals the history of the car.

The story that Raisinghanias reveal does not mention anywhere who was driving the car and how the accident exactly happened. Point to be noted

The story is not over yet

But is the entire family in on this half truth

Vansh once said that people know only things which he wants them to know

Just like that is the whole story on a need to know basis.

The story about him being a juvenile is interesting to say the least..excited to see how it ll unfold

Vansh's story today reminded me of a tamil movie, one of my favs back then where the heroine asks a riddle about the three ants..[ South indians would have understood my reference i am sure]

To embrace the reality

The reality that the walls of the mansion holds many secrets.

The line was an acknowledgement to her spying skills which uncovered one of those many secrets

The line was an acceptance that she was part of them now.

The line was a reminder that its not the first and it certainly will not be the last

Yeah today's episode was really fun..it was great.. wish we got more kabir and kava scenes though.

Yeah..when Vansh told her that he never lied to her, i was like Jhoota.

We can understand riddhima's point of view better now. Her need to find out about her parents, the same obsession that vansh had for the same reason. The reason made her lie to Vansh , the same way it made Vansh turn into Haiwaan.
