So, I have been thinking about Pakhi. She could have had so much depth and complexity. She could have been torn about being in love with Virat 🤢and trying to remain true to her marriage. Or, just dealing with Sairat's marriage in a healthy way (which was sort of hinted at in the gruhapravesh episode.)

Instead, she married a man based on his brother's tenuous vaada of bramhacharya? What was her endgame? She hoped that Virat would hoodwink his Jeeva to engage in a physical affair with her? This was the same guy who sacrificed his sabse pyaari cheez for his cousin.🤣

Did she just want to see Virat alone and pining for her for the rest of his life? To possess him some wicked convoluted way? She was always weirdly obsessed with his sex life 🤢🤬

When Samrat went MIA, she could have hoped to be declared a war widow, avail those compensations, and then marry Virat. This plan was punctured by Virat's marriage, of course. But assuming that this is still the plan, she has to get rid of Sai now. She sees the affection both of them hold for each other and wishes to antagonise Virat against Sai. But here's catch: Virat never meant an EMA by his vaada. Neither did he ever intend to cheat on Sai— he refrained from touching PP in the temple after his wedding. So, the best shot for her is to present Sai as an ehsaan faramosh biwi in front of Virat. Which, let's be honest, she tries her best to do. But, then two things always seem to puncture that plan; Sai is ferociously protective of Virat; and by cohorting with Chakrams, she loses her creds as BFF, and comes across as a vengeful ex. She always overplays her hand and ends up pushing Virat closer towards Sai. Today's breakfast drama or the admission drama were prime examples of this. She wants Virat to be the projection of her own obsessive mind and ends up being volatile. That's why she can be so easily manipulated by TMK. Makhi-avelli Didi here lacks tact even more than Sai.🤣

Agree with you!

I've been so confused with the understanding of the "vaada" for both virat and makhi.

What did virat mean while giving the "vaada"? That he won't love anyone or marry anyone or even if he does he'll stay brahmchari for life or what was it?

And what did makhi understand of that "vaada"? That he'll wait for her his entire life being brahmchari or she could be close to him and enjoy an EMA?

WHAT EXACTLY WERE BOTH THEIR INTENTIONS OF THE VAADA?

Also, is just me or other people too find it utterly disrespectful and insensitive the way the subject of an army wife/family has been depicted? For all we know, Samrat could be a PoW who could have lifelong PTSD. War is not a frivolous thing and neither is being an army family. Nobody apart from Virat and Manasi even bring it up?

I think, he meant it in terms of him being a bachelor friend of hers. I don't think he meant an EMA by it. It would have been intially difficult for him to just be 'friends', but then he had his job and loved Samrat more than Pakhi, anyway. It is very unlikely that he thought through the entire thing and meant a lot by it.

Kahan Pakhi didi was waiting for him to stop the Shaadi aur Kahan Woh Sai ki Shaadi rokne Chala Gaya.

His dilemma to marry Sai was so easily solved and he was so resolved to do it, on the other hand.

I think he meant something along the lines of I know I'm being unfair to you pushing you to marry the brother of the man you love, in return and as a consolotion, the only thing I can give you is a promise that I will deprive myself of marital bliss, with the hopes that all my share goes to you and my brother. That's how I took the nonsense vaada he gave. I never thought he ever had the thoughts of EMA.

I think I said it earlier, but Virat's vaada was an ego boost for her and she got floored. His vaada was misinterpreted and became something like since I did not get you, I'll stay single for the rest of my life- because if its not you, it can be no one else.

Coming to the post, Pakhi must be the stupidest makhi-avellian character I saw. Its funny how both her and Jagtap are in same place -yet they react differently.

Jagtap hid his real self behind the mask of stupidity and pretended to be a clown, when he was not all that. I remember that one scene where he kidnapped Sai, he was clowning her one moment and the next he was a psycho.

Pakhi didi is the complete opposite - she hides her real self behind her matchurity and her MA first division and all she does is whine like a broken tape recorder.

I know he never meant to have an EMA.. but it has definitely been perceived by her like that and that's why all she wants is him.

She married samrat just bc he asked her to.. she doesn't intend to be faithful to her marriage and accept virat as a bachelor friend

@Bold I will get chappals for this, but I think apart from his super impulsive vaada, Virat was the sorted one in this yoga-wala-romance. He treated it, albeit unknowingly, as a strong infatuation which he wanted to peruse. He could indeed function mentally well enough to spearhead a high-risk rescue mission the very next day of his true love's wedding to his brother.

TBH, that rescue was his zimmedari towards SaiI remember he didn't even think twice about leaving the wedding and rushing off to rescue Sai.

But Pakhi was always a mess tho. Like I said earlier, which mid-twenty-something goes that beserk about a two-day crush so much? She was willing to rebound on crush with a marriage? She never had a healthy sense of relationships.

I will not be the one throwing the chappal🤣

He was sorted definitely. He may not have realised it, but he treated the situation, bar the vaada, exactly how one treats their infatuation.

His tears at the wedding seemed funny to me, because this is exactly how I cried when my first crush told me he hated the poem I wrote for him ( which was plagiarised from google actually). The only difference was that I was 13.🤣🤣
