He was the same guy who use to throw knives on her for speaking against him and accusing him, paralyzing her when she didn't listen to him. So she has betrayed him, of course he will end up listening to his mind hurt her in worst way possible but when his mind is satisfied with her miseries, his heart bleed to see her tears her helplessness her pain. He just couldn't control himself and stay away from her.
It was battle which was giving him peace along with pain.... peace to mind, pain to heart. And his stubbornness and ego wasn't letting him back down from this battle.

The problem is shashu gets the emotional core of riansh correct...but he somewhere fails while penning down the dialogues n scenario...maybe channel interference, maybe trp pressure ....
I am no way justifying vansh's actions ...i felt horrible seeing ridz fall at his feet n beg..
But if you just keenly observe...he made her go through the same hell same pain...
Betrayal, arrest, had to die for world, loose his identity, come back as vihaan, then prove his family not once but twice that he is vansh...
Same he did to her...but the thing is he did intentionally while ridz never meant him any harm....n he took it way to extreme by bringing Ahana...
