Thanks for sharing this. Yes even he spoke about both nepotism and casting couch. I think recently Areeba Habib also spoke about casting couch and even Sarwat Gilani too hinted it. I wont take names but they is a producer i read about who apparently is famous for having affairs with all the actresses he signs. Another actress recently was dragged in recently by a business man daughter who accused her of using her father to get roles. I mean come on they are less opportunities and many are just getting back to back shows. Camps are no big deal but its definitely more than that..

Nepotism is a sensitive issue.There is no doubt about the fact that nepotism exists in Pakistani entertainment industry.Why does the industry run on kinship?There are also so many such self-made stars who have made their own name in the industry(Wahaj,Yumna, Ahmed Ali,Ramsha, Danish, Sajal Ali, Imran Ash, Imran Abbas, ).Zara might be pretty but she can't act to save her life.She hails from a filmy background .She is the daughter of Asma Abbas and niece of veteran actress Bushra.She is not as talented as her aunt.Because of her, She is getting serials. Not only nepo kids but undeserving outsiders also steal roles from deserving outsiders.

Nepotism exists in every industry to an extent and it's impossible to get rid of it. The problem isn't with starkids/siblings wishing to enter the same profession as their parents or siblings but with them getting showered with opportunities at an initial stage when they aren't ready for it. Personally I find it to be unfair if someone is handed a well written leading role in a huge scale drama on a platter even when their acting is mediocre just because their parents are big names in the industry. It is unfair to the talented actors who are unable to get opportunities due to their lack of connections?Why can't the nepokids begin with supporting roles at first,polish their skills and bag lead roles when they are ready for it? Many nepokids started from supporting characters like Ali abbas. He used to do supporting roles now he is getting main lead role. Same goes with Ali Kazmi who still did not get main lead roles. Shahroze sabzwari also started from side characters.

There are many non talented actors who don't belong to actor's family still they are getting work.

Of course. This industry can't run on nepokids only.😃 But difference is that nepokids enter dramas because of their names.. while outsiders have to go through auditions to get a role. Nepokids get more work, and even if they flop the still get work untill they become used to cameras and improve .. while outsiders don't get those much chances, and if they flop it is tough for them to get roles or improve.😊

I though love Zara and find her entertaining have to admit that she isn't a good actress. She got the chance because of her family.. but she can improve. She can sing and dance too. I think she can improve as an actress as well.😃
