Very nice start to the "Story of the decade"

Part 1: Both Arnav and Khushi are struggling with their own demons, Arnav - emotional, Khushi - both physical and emotional.

I have to appreciate Khushi's courage here to try and escape, even though she has tired earlier and has been caught every single time. Her determination and courage to escape hell is praiseworthy. She did not die in the hell but she escaped.

Arnav's panic attacks and his phobia seeing fire was so heart breaking to read.

Payal is a beautiful soul.

Part 2: Khushi might be a broken person but she is a person with strong principals. She refused to take any kind of advantage or help from her savior and wants to work and live respectfully. This nature of Khushi will surely take her a long way.

Arnav needs healing, he needs someone to apply balm on his injured soul.

Very nice chapters both the writers, Aboli and Raji. Great going.

Payal is a strong character and Khushi showed strength when she tried harder to get out of Shyam's clutches. I can see two soul sisters bonding together in the future.

The quality of self respect will surely help Khushi in progressing in her life and we never know, that might win her some admirers.

Thank you for the comment Kavi!

Cheers..

Just read both parts and what an eventful start indeed! I simply love the concept - we still have the world of AR and (what I think is) a similarly traumatic past that Arnav and his family have to deal with. However, the twist of Khushi being married to an abusive Shyam Manohar Jha took me by surprise and amped up the suspense of the story for me.

I am intrigued by where the tale will take us, mainly because I'm a sucker for characterization and character arcs, and there's a lot to be discovered here - Khushi secrets and vulnerabilities with her marriage and her personal life in general, as well as Arnav's panic attacks and mental health paired with his weariness around strangers in his house... so very interesting!

Two wonderful chapters by Aboli and Raji 👏❤️

Edit: Forgot to add this but I adore Payal and Arnav's relationship here. Wish we got to see more of their dynamic in the show as well.

Thank you Rain! I am sure writers who signed up for this venture will give you everything you are looking for, in their own unique way. I agree, there are so many secrets and so much mystery. You can reveal secrets if you have sometime and if you can join the group.

A great beginning of the story!

So there is a haunting past for Arnav and Akash and an equally disturbing present for Khushi. Is it the shared pain that will bring them together and open up? I am already looking forward to their interactions.

The fact that Khushi is married will be an added impediment to the story and I am eager to see how it would pan out in the coming chapters by the other talented writers.

With respect to the writing, I really liked your narration style. Allowed me to connect with the characters.

Thanks a lot for this beautiful start.

Thank you for the comment Kiran! Hope you can join us and add your flavour of writing to the story.

Once upon a time may be. Let us see if someone decides to show us a childish Khushi.😉

May be in flashback we can see childish khushi😆

Chapter 2

I'll talk about Khushi first. Your portrayal of Khushi's character made my heart ache for her. A story's worth is always in the details of its characters and I feel that you did an excellent job with that. The nuances of her character, as etched by you, show what a traumatic and miserable life she has lived with Shyam. Though it has not been stated that for how long Khushi has been married to Shyam, we know from her behaviour that she has had a very hard time.

Her initial reluctance to use the amenities provided in the Raizada house shows that she is not used to being in a comfortable and safe place. Her first reaction upon seeing Arnav (in the previous chapter) and Payal (in this chapter) is fear. I hope things get better for her in the coming chapters. For now, she'll be staying in the staff quarters, and I am loving Payal for her kindness towards Khushi.

Coming to Arnav, I am very curious to know what happened with his parents and how did he come to fear fire? Did he lose his parents in a fire accident? Seems that way for now. Also, he's wary of a stranger's presence in his house and rightly so. Although, I feel that having witnessed Khushi's nightmare, he would be somewhat sympathetic to her plight. It would be interesting to see their dynamics unfold as the story progresses.

Both Payal and Akash have a protective stance towards Arnav which is quite endearing. Overall, a beautiful read and on a completely different note, I hope Shyam burns in hell.

Thank you for the chapter, Raji. Loved it to bits.

Eager awaiting the next installment. 😃

Where was Khushi living before she got married? Was it some relatives who didn't want her and got rid of her by getting her married to Shyam?

Why is Payal so worried about Khushi crossing paths with Arnav and Akash? Since they had a painful past, wouldn't they be understanding towards another person's pain?

Thank you for the comment Kiran. Arnav is sympathetic but, he has a reason or two for his wariness. We will find out the reason soon. Even I am enjoying reading it. Can't wait for Shiri's chapter on the weekend. Whoever is going to write Shyam's fate, I am sure they are eagerly waiting to leave him in a snake pit. He can play snakewa snakewa with them.
