The music was the USP, followed by SRK's work.

I find it damn surprising how producers/actors/directors get the credit for something they didn't do 😆 Like how can non musical people get credit for music 😆 Then toh even Jab Tak Hai Jaan would've been a hit album 😆

Shiv-Hari gave YRF some great albums, Chandini and Lamhe were awesome too.

I agree. Music is my fav part of Bollywood. I guess tho I never mind composers/singers lack of fame cause personally I do know their names 😆

Ahh, Darr. Another FDFS . It was a fabtastic film and album has some of the finest songs by Shiv Hari. Udit Narayan was in his element, it was that time in his career when his voice was at it's finest. Lata Mangeshkar, mesmerizing as usual.

The chase scene is still one of my favourite scenes.

Love love love this movie !!

SRK was just mindblowing in his role the way he said kkk..kiran and his expressions ❤️

Darr is definitely one of the best psychological thrillers out of India. Although it borrows heavily from some Hollywood flicks and embellishes it with some desi drama, it is quite well made. The most impressive thing about the movie is how the villain (who is actually a quite toxic and dangerous person) was able to become sympathetic.

Darr - i think srk had pyschological issues bec of his mothers early death (i watched this movie in 2000s)

Gupt (it was female version of darr i guess, kajol obsessed with bobby deol) LOL who kills father for slapping his son. Almost every father would have slapped/spanked their kids a few times in life with or without valid reasons in india at least

in 2020 if darr was made than SRk would get arrested instead of letting him trouble juhi so much by tracking his mobile ph

Gupt too cannot be made now, because nowadays no one cares for love or true love anymore. So no one will go around killing BFs father

Tu Mere Samne is such a haunting melody. Love the song for Udit’s parts mostly❤️

I recently came across a song with Aamir and Raveena that had a very similar sound and surprise surprise, it was also composed by Shiv-Hari:)

Dead calm is an amazing dark movie, doesn’t compare in story or quality...

Darr is similar to countless “Lifetime” movies except much better soundtrack and attires
