Does Salman Khan deserve Super Star Status?

In my opinion, a Super Star should be a combination of good acting skills and good looks, while I agree Salman has given huge hits and his looks are good, but his acting is horrible for the most part.

All the other Super Stars like Amitabh Bachan, Sharukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Dilip Kumar, Rajesh Khanna, Dharmendra were both good looking and for the most part great actors. Salman Khan is not a great actor. Does he deserve his status?

There are no guidelines or parameter required to become a Superstar.

Salman is a Superstar and that's the reality.

It has nothing to do with deserving or undeserving.

No he should not be called superstar because he is a megastar😈 one of the three megastar in bollywood cinema 😎(the other 2 are b big and srk)

Why exactly? lets be honest his movies are hardly intelligent, he is more like Mithun of his time, mostly uneducated people like his movies and since India has a huge population of uneducated people, his movies work. He would have been a miserable failure in hollywood.

SRK at least has done some good work and his acting is way better then Salman

because he can make +165 Crs at the box office with a garbage like race 3 . Show me another actor who pulls as much as he does.

Well I'm an educated woman born and raised in Canada and I'm a fan of Salman. I don't watch movies for wisdom - I have other resources to gain that from. Movies are meant to entertain and if they do that then they have achieved what they had set out to do.

I also think he can act. I agree that there have been movies where his acting chops haven't been the greatest but he has done some impressive work as well. I think it's popular opinion that he can't act but there are a number of movies that he is quite good in.

Obviously he has something or he wouldn't have lasted this long.

He has plenty of educated fans as well uneducated fans as well I assume. Why is there the need to put down people who don't have the privilege of getting an education? Why do we assume that they cannot recognize talent? You don't need a PhD for that.

There is probably corruption and mafia involved here, they probably buy all the screen spaces, and they dont let other good movies to be put on many screens, thus people are forced to watch a Salman Khan movie.

No intelligent person will watch his movies
