Preity wasn't the first choice for KHNH - Kareena was. where would Preity be if she didn't bag the role of Naina? Likewise, Kareena wasn't the first choice for JWM - Preity was (destiny plays out so strangely, lol). Now JWM literally changed Kareena's declining career.

So these things are typical for Bollywood, 'first choices' are never the ultimate choice.

Kajol was in fact offered Josh, and Mohabbatein, this is confirmed, not "some sources say".

When it comes to Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam - Sanjay Leela Bhansali wrote it with Madhuri Dixit in mind. But he was too scared to ask her because she rejected his Khamoshi so vehemently. He offered it to Kajol, lord knows why she said no. Kareena Kapoor has been given the signing amount for the film (which she revealed on Film Companion's "Firsts" series).

It's funny how again with Devdas this time, Kajol was offered it, Kareena was promised it, Madhuri appeared in it, and Aishwarya starred in it. The same 4 divas.

Did you know: Khamoshi was offered to Kareena Kapoor also - she would have been 15 years old, so the role would have been a few years younger. Twinkle Khanna also refused the role. As did Kajol.

Wow, some actresses refusing Khamoshi is shocking, that movie was just so beautiful, Bhansali's best for sure. I am kind of glad that Kajol rejected Devdas, because the movie itself is horrible, only saving grace was Madhuri. Kareena was no way talented and established enough to either do Hum dil de and Khamoshi, her range is very limited, only Kajol and Mahduri are the ones who deserved these offers IMO.

Anyway, Bhansali has lately been making bad films, despite the BO numbers, I hope Alia's career is not drowned after collaborating with him, she already has Brahmastra which will never release.

No, I never said that Salman is saint, but it is difficult for me to believe that Salman has beaten her up physically and someone like her has not gone to the police and instead went to Vivek's arms. To each, his own, but I believe she is cunning and everything she ever did is look beautiful. She even destroyed Umrao jaan, with her cringe worthy performance, and some other films like sarabjit.

Aish was manipulated and abused physically and mentally when she was in relation with Salman and cos of Salman and his tantrums even her professional life suffered !!

and I am so glad she got out of that toxic relationship and even got the success she deserves ..

Not being a first choice is not the same as being removed from a movie you have been agreed to or even being removed from roles written for you which the actor already signed and waiting on pre production....or even thrown out of a movie you have shooted and still shooting... thats what Aishwarya is talking about.

She was shown out after signing a 3 movie contract deal...at best she was allowed to keep the signing amount.

Salman wasn't at fault for any of this. This woman is terrible and hasn't aged well 😆
