When I read the updates here I was like why did he apply on her wrist instead of face.. but then when I watched the episode and heard his dialogue that he doesn’t want to be the guy who would make excuses to touch a girl.. his love is DIFFERENT..❤️

@bold- Something is definitely up. Disha's name has been mentioned a few times in the last couple of episodes. Looks like another incomplete love story is going to be revived.

disha ko bhi bulbul ki tarha na maar de but offscreen🤢 aliya needs to be dethroned like she was in s1 when abhi threw her out of house. if aryan turns against her and purab will obvi support him, rhea already is rude to her, she will be isolated

Maybe even the writers want to show the difference between eternal loub and actual love in the same episode😁

Didn't think of it this way, but yes, it does provide a striking contrast!

Just caught bit of the episode and now i have to rant a bit.

I love Sriti and Shabbir, both individually and together. They are the reason i still watch this show but their characters and this story arc is insane. Like beyond any logic.

There are literally a hundred different ways the writers could have taken this story while maintaining the drama quotient. Why recycle the completely unnecessary wedding drama where they're acting like lovestruck teenagers.

I got attacked somewhere else for saying Abhi's character is toxic but i maintain that. His character is like trump - completely inconsistent. He says one thing one moment and does a uturn the next. He still has the gall to blame her. The writers literally never showed a redemption arc for him where he acknowledges or even understands that Pragya was never at fault for what went wrong between them, if anyone was responsible for them losing their daughter it was him and his family because Pragya wasn't the one who brought the likes of Tanu and Nikhil into their lives. Even King became a part of their lives because Abhi kicked Pragya out and later because his niece married into the man's family. Pragya just takes flak for everything that goes wrong in the forsaken Mehra family.

Her character is almost masochist under the blindfold of love because she keeps going back to the man who uses her as a verbal punching bag and a target for his own misgivings and faults. Everytime i see him accusing her of something, i feel like punching something. And everytime Pragya just takes his crap or acts like a giddy girl in love, it makes me feel furious at her character.

Instead of the wedding track, they could have shown them being mature parent, which is what they are now, trying to put their family back together and save their kids from destroying their lives. In this process they could have also dealt with their own issues, resentments, etc and given the fans whatever romantic quotient they need to give to them. I mean showing them living as a married couple dealing with issues that old married couples do would be far more interesting than seeing a weird rehash of them enacting their past. THAT"s called story progression. There is so much to explore within that arc, romance included because love changes with time as people do. It can grow stronger and remain constant while changing at the same time. What matters is how a couple adapts to it. There was still a certain type of progression and maturity within their romantic relationship during the whole Kiara track but it's stagnant at this point. If he can still misunderstand her, if they can still misunderstand each other's love - the damn premise of this show - then where is the growth? It's nada, zlich.

The theme of the show is 'Kumkum Bhagya' as in one's fate being tied to their marriage. We already know these two are tied by it, no one needs a rehash of the same thing. Wouldn't it be better to see this concept being passed on to their kids. How their fates are entwined with that of their kids because what their kids are living is a by product of the things Abhi and Pragya faced through their fate.

It would definitely give the second generation a bit more scope. I mean they have the potential to learn so much from their parents mistakes and experience. Why not show taht being passed on? It still keeps Abhi and Pragya on screen while doing something sensible with this story.

At this point, i feel like i can't watch this story even for the actors.
