I nearly DIED when I first saw/heard his review.

I don't endorse bitchiness but he was spot on. Sonam is lucky to have her daddy and her didi to get her films, but she really needs an acting coach and to treat herself like a newcomer. Neerja was a fluke.

And hell yeah!!! Neerja was indeed a fluke and she survived the harsh criticism for her horrible acting skills because of the strong script and direction. Also her character was rather subtle and unchallenging with scope for histrionics, so she got away with it. But whatever, any great actress worth her salt could've easily pulled off the role of Neerja and she probably would've smashed it 100x times better than Sonam as well.

I thought she was AMAZING in Neerja. A very good performance. But the rest of her filmography is poor. That's why it's a fluke. A one-off.

She could do it again, with a director that knows how to utilise whatever talent she might have hidden away inside her, and to bring it out. And she'd need a suitable role too. She needs to set herself free from her "image" and just concentrate on PERFORMANCE.

But I agree, ANY other actress would have done a better job, well maybe apart from Katrina Kaif, because these two were the lowest of the bunch in 2016. However, I didn't feel anything was lacking in Neerja. So round of applause for Mrs Ahuja.

Sonam might be dumb and a bad actress, but Masand is EVIL .Someone who sells his soul to the devil... I rarely wish anyone bad, but he is someone who should face gods wrath on this earth....
