Yaar aajkl new channel hit karna next to impossible thing hai .....just look at zee,colors nd sony ,sun network newly launched channel in various markets.....for ex zee ka zee keralam still is on no.5 even after 2yrs of launch, colors ka colors tamil toh top10 me bhi nhi even after 3yrs of launch, sony ka sony marathi kabhi top5 me aata hai kabhi nhi aata, sun ka sun bangla is on no.4 but still jalsha nd zee se kaafi piche hai.....aajkl new channels ka success ratio ekdum naa ke barabar hai....agr zee nd viacom colors nd zee tv close krke new channel layenge toh yeh aisa hoga ki woh bana banaya audience khud jake sp ko de rahe hai

Colors ka koi show 3+ nhi ho raha....zee ka koi show except bhagyas nhi chal rha....ye sab cheeze improve ho sakti hai with revamp but new channel ke liye audience buildup karna is impossible.....sp zee sony colors created their audience from 15+ yrs.....its not easy for new channel to create such huge audience base

Toh revamp kare kuch bhi kare par ye ghatiya shows BANDH KARE. I really cant take this yaar kissi ko bolne mein bhi sharam aati hai that yahaan ke audience Kumkum Bhagya dekhte hai. Matlab profit keliye creativity chhod dena is something like destroying your own source of income. Colors and Zee were very good channels in the past but aaj dekho kis level pe aagaye hai. They really really need very big revamps in look logo and everything. Ek new identity banani padegi unko. Tabhi jaake they will get what they want and that is audience.

Ye commenters kis age ke hote honge to?

@Bold: Ye case alag hota hai. Fir yahi fans log inn newbies ko popular star bana dete hai. Ye inke popular high following hone ki shuruvaat hoti hai. Ye sab uss PH ke shows rehte hai jiske shows vo pehle dekhte the isliye unke aage ke shows bhi dekhte hai. Logon ko opposite attraction couple shows ya dehaati setting shows me alag hi interest aata hai chaahe actor koi bhi ho.

I am serious, in childhood/teenagehood whenever i switched to Sony all i saw was crime patrol / CID. Gosh it was sooo hell annoying i mean kitne log ye bhi bolte the that Sony means CID channel. But again over the years unka ek target audience create hua hai jisme jadatar male, young ppl, nd urban ppl aate hai.....so ab woh achanak se fiction pe concentrate krenge toh na to woh target audience khush hoga na hi kisi dusre channel ka fiction audience wo le payenge as they also created their loyal audience over the years nd in the end unka jo set target audience hai woh bhi unse dur hoga

Thats why advertisers takes all parameters into consideration

3.poore india ka data process krne k liye itna bada advanced software create hi nhi hua hai....its almost impossible right now to process such huge data with 10days

So new rating system ka sapna bhool jao....barc abhi 2015 me launch hua hai nd usme hi sare broadcasters ne kaafi invest kiya so i dont think they are again ready to do such huge investment

Haa ab sirf ek baat ho sakti hai....to get more accurate data they can install more meters every 6 months jo ki actually woh karte hai

You never know Ekta. If she can take expressionless Jasmine and then her rival Rashmi for same character just after Jasmine exit she can do anything. After her taking Faisu in a web series anything can be possible. As Aleya said most of her leads are on basis of popularity.
