If they make Alexander vs Porus?

Not sure why Bollywood has never attempted to make this real battle in the last 70 years?

Prithvi Raj Kapoor made it way back in 1941, but why no one has attempted to make this again, why? It would be an amazing action/historic movie if they make this.

If they do make this movie, based on the battle of Alexander and Porus, who do you think should play Alexander and Porus?

In my opnion Hrithik Roshan would be a good choice for Alexander ( because of his Greek types looks)

while Arjun Rampal would be a nice choice to play Porus, he looks more Indian Masculine.

Bollywood doesn't attempt them coz it required quality in action, story, screenplay and music...everything they compromise on these days, sab hero ki fees kha jaati hai.

And on casting, they would have to cast historically accurate actors who look the part and can act, their popularity wouldn't matter. But Bollywood wants the easy way, by using A Listers everything else can be managed and compromised on.

Altho The TV Show Porus got it pretty accurate.

They would have to cast Greek actors for Alexander, his family, his kingdom and people, and they would have to speak Greek language with subtitles in Hindi for Indian audience to understand.

Otherwise it won't look accurate. Lots of work and the film would loose mass appeal because of it.

Even if they screw all this historic accuracy to make a mainstream film, the biggest bummer would be Porus loosing the battle in the film.

Indians don't like to see their country loose in movies. That's not entertainment for them.
