But were Arshi really this simple?

Their story is not a Fairytale.

It had dashes of Rabba ve

Interspersed with Dard and Nafrat.

The sweetness of Jalebi

Juxtaposed with the bitterness of Karela

And in between all the

Dori breaking and Dupatta flying,

We never realized when Arshi fell for each other...

... and we fell for them.

It's been years but their magic never fails to pull us in.

And all these years, they have given wings to the creativity of people worldwide.

We have seen so many people donning the writers cap,

And re-writing Arshi in their own words.

So many alternate universes,

So many different characterizations...

But the one thing that has always remained common is our love for Arshi.

Today, we call upon all IPK writers,
Old and new,
Experienced and Newbies,
Anyone who has been inspired by IPK and Arshi to write,

To join us in the

Yes, a Decade to the day,

When Arshi first entered our lives

And still rule our hearts

On June 6th, 2021
We will celebrate the 10th Anniversary of IPK

And one of the best gifts to the makers of IPK

and the massive fandom that still thrives and flourishes

Would be getting all IPK writers

Who have kept them alive all these years

To come together and write a story

The plan is simple,

We begin the story as the New Year starts,

And culminate it on the day of the Anniversary.

But the twist is that each chapter will be written by a different writer.
Thus, this story will carry the collective imaginations of various writers of our community.

The writers will have to be prompt, since they may get only 3-4 days to write out a chapter after the previous one is up.

Which is why, a tentative calendar will be put up in the next post

That will allow us to check the writers before and after us,

In case some coordination is required with them.

All writers who are interested in joining this journey
Are requested to drop a message in this thread
With a tentative date (eg. Jan ending, mid-March, will also do).

We will set up a schedule accordingly.

Of course, it is understandable if sudden things come up at your end,

And you won't be able to write on the scheduled date.

In which case, the writer is requested to message in this thread or PM me,

so that we can exchange dates with someone else or replace them

And continue the story without hitches

Here is a small blurb, to give a glimpse of the tale -

He is devastated by the memories of a terrible accident which scarred him.

She is traumatized by the vile intentions of a cruel man.

Can two people broken beyond repair, heal each other?

Can they overcome their demons to live a peaceful life?

Will Love overpower fears, insecurities and pain?
