waise beech main anokhi reverse psycology use kar rahi this aara din to sunao bapu kya maze maze ke dialogue thay toh bapu usse punish karne ke liye kehte hain ke ab isko lock karke vyaah main jaayengein anokhi andar se bohat khush hoti hai ke now she can prepare for the SI test but woh beeji ne flop kar dia plan by telling Mr Bhalla ke nahi wahan shaadi main rishta mil sakta hai toh take her along caz mr bhalla ne jo astha maam ko challenge kar diya tha.

I loved how anokhi tilmila gayi thi hearing woh loser bapu ka betiyan kya hain sirf ek liability jinko saari zindagi paalo and phir inke patiyon ko bhi bharte hi jao whiel bete ke value abhi engineering college main hai toh 15, 16 lakh hai baad main 25-26 lakh ho jaayegi and woh gin gin ke vasool kareinge all his invetment on his puttar. dusri taraf was loser sisters of shaurya were misbehaving with kanchan uska mazaak uda rahi thi when she brought kheer ke yeh kya kare saara din koi kaam dhanda nahi toh khane banati rehti hai then they went way out of their limit by poking fun at her relationship with ehr husband and asking about their sex life toh shaurya heard and came to her rescue suan daali in behno ko ache e they ahd nothing to say toh they went ke bhabhi toh humari friend jaisi hain so we askedtoh shuarya went friend toh main bhi hoon mujhse aisi bakwaas karoge kya lol🤣 GO SHaurya.. phir unke jaane ke baad he told kanchan ke phirse badtameezi karein to tell him he;ll handle them But the hightlight here was kanchan saying thanksyou and appreciating shurya shutting them up but also adding ke Main inko khud handle kar sakti thi shaurya bhaiyaa WOHOOOOOOOOOOO. yay for a woman who isn't looking for a messiah that was refreshing .

I just love the way this actress says these dialogues makes them so much more powerful . i love hwo indirectly she has formed this unkaha sa bond with mrs bhalla and bublli the way she looks at them kind of telling them too indirectly to acheive their freedon AHHHHHH Astha maam jaisi janani aaj kal TV main dekhne ko milti hi nahi hai she seems like from an outer world

These two dialogues were so powerful....and I think all the more hard-hitting for anyone who has lived it....the price of what freedom truly means in a patriarchal society....there is always a price to be paid for going against the tide. It is easier said than done.....and so I love how Aastha always gives clear eyed advice to Anokhi about the path she is choosing....she encourages Anokhi to achieve her potential but always reminds her that the society she is functioning in will find a way to extract its price so Anokhi needs to be ready for that. Freedom comes at a price in an unjust society....and sadly, society will remain unjust for the foreseeable future.

Word about the actress...she's doing a fab job....I like that the casting hasn't been constrained by needing to cast Punjabi actors for these parts....Anokhi is also played by a Bengali actress and you can hear her accent in some bits but more importantly, she justifies the personality of Anokhi correctly.....and same for Aastha - the actress again has an accent in her Hindi as well but she is so good in her portrayal of Aastha that it doesn't matter if she is not believably Punjabi.

LOL@ the brother LITERALLY being named RAJA....Raja beta😆....the writers managing to make a point even with the name chosen for the character....and ofcourse as expected, he is treated like a prince by his father simply because he is a boy. Toh seems like he is the middle child....oldest is Babli, phir yeh Raja and then Anokhi again.

I was braced for a cliched spoilt brat brother character but the makers again thankfully avoided that.....he is again in the mould of a guy who uses misogyny casually, not as actively as his dad. Either he was also blind or he didn't care to notice the wound on Babli's face.....but clearly he does have affection for both his sisters and doesn't treat them like trash like his dad does. The most interesting bit for me observationally was the one where he was behaving normally with Anokhi even after she discovered the suspension letter but the moment Ramesh showed up and Raja felt threatened that his secret might be revealed to his dad, he turned on Anokhi and started berating her for being too high and mighty and talking crap about her needing to stay in her aukaat.

That one little moment said SO much about how misogyny is perpetuated and nurtured in society.....Raja, like most men, has discovered that misogyny is an easy tool to try and shut up a woman if she is standing in your way....he doesn't even need to believe or mean what he's saying.....it was so very easy for him to say those horrible things to Anokhi cuz it achieved the effect of silencing her in the moment. Later he came to her room to apologize but Anokhi rightly pointed out ki like most men, he finds satisfaction in showing a woman "her place". Atleast he felt a little shamefaced at that.....so he knew what he did was hurtful but he did it anyway. That is why we have the society we do.

These are the scenes this show is doing so well and keeping me interested with in every epi.....I don't know if the average junta is realizing the point though....lol these things are so deeply ingrained in society....whether it's every show on ITV or real life itself, most ppl DO consider shaadi the end goal of everything especially for a girl, and most ppl AGREE with how a girl should only aspire to manage a household without ever raising her voice beyond solving domestic squabbles.....so isn't all this going to be a shock to their system? How will anyone watch this show in a family setting knowing that they are probably sitting next to a real life Ramesh Bhalla as they watch this?😆

When this scene started, I was cringing cuz the nanads are truly among the most cliched bitchy characters in the story....bahut bakwaas karti hain....I hope they don't show too many of their scenes berating Kanchan.

But for today's scene, it was mainly a setup to show another side to Shaurya....he may be a misogynist in some ways but he doesn't subscribe to the notion that a woman should be disrespected like that....so it was good to see him standing up for Kanchan and telling off his sisters for talking crap. LOL yeh bhi funny tha that he knows they are both very big jhootis😆....he harbors no illusions about them simply cuz they are part of the family....bas woh Taya-Tayi ke baare mein hi he has been fooled.

But then yes, at the end of the scene, we came back to the fundamental issue....Kanchan tried to stand up for herself and gently remind him that she also could have responded to the sisters on her own behalf, but Shaurya cut her off saying that he spoke on her behalf and that's enough....lol so again, while he didn't want her to be disrespected, he also doesn't understand that not allowing her her voice is also a disservice to her. Yeh lesson Shaurya Sir ko Anokhi Bhalla samjhaayengi😆. Chalo atleast they are showing some small redeeming bits in him as he takes a stand for some issues.....subtle development hai for his character so far....faltu ka tamasha nahin failata to exert his power and ideology.

Waise Kanchan ji, agar bolna hi tha, toh itna time kyun lag raha tha as those girls kept doing bakwaas?😆....mujhe toh nahin lagta she will manage to stand up for herself to Devi and co.

Re: Anokhi ki shaadi....lol yep, woh toh obvious hai that the forced shaadi will be the final big push for Anokhi to run away....I'm guessing it will coincide with her clearing the test and getting admission into SI....toh she will run away either shaadi waale din ya usse pehle hi leaving Ramesh fuming.....lol waise shouldn't be a surprise for him....Anokhi literally tells him EVERY day that she will fly away 😆....his problem if he isn't taking her seriously.

Netflix series dekh lo agar mood hai toh.....I watched Bridgerton recently😆

I looked up the first week TRPs of SAKK....as expected, it has opened with low TRPs.....1.1.

This timeslot usually gets low ratings anyways and baaki the show's concept is too radical for ITV😆.

Chalo dekhte hain what the coming weeks bring and whether the show's storyline sticks to it's base plot.

I guess this is the guy that will play Babli ka woh abusive husband....so I guess that side of the story will be shown soon too.

Not that I want the show to just depict the endless miseries on the many married women in this story, but I am curious to see Babli's story and I would like to see her managing to come out of this horrible marriage.

Oh wow, so this was supposed to be the original cast of RK?😆.....man, I'm glad they changed it.....all the faces in this look so cliched. Older RK bhi far better cast kiye baad mein with Shivya-Himanshu as compared to the typical vanilla ones in this version. They used that SP waali Sita as Radha in this.....lol

Sumedh ka look bhi cliched Krishna hai ismein....I prefer the look they ultimately settled on...is look mein it seems like they gave him a wig with long curls😆....but his current look has his own natural curly hair with the turban.....and Malika again feels like she was meant for the part of teen Radha....her face has the right balance of innocence and serenity without looking like she's trying too hard.....the actress they've shown here looks like a cliched TV face. Even Radha's look I guess went through a big transformation cuz here she just looks like a generic princess....lol they really evolved it later on with the whole flower jewelery look and her distinct ghagra cholis.

Waise I find it fascinating how much a show can evolve as it waits to launch....like it seems this one went through many big changes before it went on the floors.....this is what the final launch promo looked like with far better VFX and direction😆. But they did seem to have the songs finalized kaafi pehle se since both the promos have the same songs/music.

This also makes me think of IB and how it somehow managed to find the right mix of destiny before launching....lol or it would be a whole other show. Aise toh so many of these fantasy/mytho shows get launched but most of them are too generic in approach to stand out.....RK stood out cuz they managed to get the casting and feel right.....they didn't dwell on making them generic prince-princess but focused on the spirituality of the bond and story.
